Another good start for Trix today! Her appy is quite nice these days (anti-jinx)...it has now been a week since I've had to assist feed. She'll start off her first breffis on the floor with everyone else, but then she remembers she prefers room service with MamaBean holding the plate. No matters....she's eating plenty and that's all that counts. I need to weigh her again...she does look like she's filling out a bit.
Petey's appy picked up as the morning went on, and last evening he ate quite normally. I constantly have to remind myself that his is how he has always been...he's not a highly food-driven cat, and from time-to-time he's had these slightly off days. It's just that now I am super hyper-sensitive to it to the extreme...
Thank you all again, for all your support, thoughts, prayers, encouragement, and stories for my Dad. I'm still very much in shock, but have to keep/get it together so I can be useful to my parents. I'll be going to his consult appointment with them next week, once all the test results are in. This is one of those crazy situations set in motion by nothing other than a blood test, just like when all hell broke loose with Trix earlier this year. His PSA was high with no other symptoms, and before you know it, we're dealing with something beyond straight up prostate cancer. It makes no sense...
But thank you again, and I continue to hold everyone here in my thoughts and prayers....
