So I am so tired my brain hurts....

my darling Shakes is meatloafing and has an amps of 125.....

WTF?!
I thought if the pancreas was acting up his numbers would be bad?
maybe the 3.2 is just too much? maybe the 402 was from the full moon?
too many questions, I know! hence my brain hurting!!

so I know the drill but I also know that I will not be home to test so I will back down
on his insulin...why coulnt this be Friday!!
Oh well..hope you are all doing well out there
and I will talk to you all tonight...

thanks
Denise and Shakes

Whew!

Hopefully the 2.9 will give Shakes a good day.

I am glad you are back posting...I really miss you when you aren't around!

So, tell me....what do you think about this dance?!

Hi LAdies,

He has never meatloafed before and I wonder if it is a coincidence?!
dont know, but will keep an eye on him...hopefully I didnt lower him too much...

I really need to hit the lottery so I can be a stay at home Mom and get this boy into remission!!

If my colorfulness affends anyone let me know and I will try to calm it down!
sorry

Oh no! The rest of the board will never forgive me if I have precipitated your toning it down! As far as I can tell, it is a major source of enjoyment. I just couldn't resist getting in on it. Sorry.

So tell me what you think the significance of meatloafing is. Alex sat that way a lot BEFORE his diagnosis and rarely sits that way now.
It makes me happy to see him being a meatloaf since he had that behavior before becoming a sugar boy.

Some cats sit in the meatloaf position when they feel bad. Niko always sits that way so it's one of those Every Cat is Different things.....

My cats have always sat in meatloafs. It is a favorite position when they are both on the table in the kitchen watching us cook :)

NO, NO, NO don't tone it down---I love your colorfulness!!!! I hate this $#%%%^ Dance also!!! I can't tell you how many times your comments have made my day! :-D

And, by the way--Michelle and Peeps have rejoined us and Peeps likes Beer Breath!!! Peeps would fit in great with you or me.... I like Peeps!

My cats sit like that alot also so I don't think it's a big deal. Thumper probably feels bad & never sits like that!

Denise, you make me laugh....something I need more of & it breaks up the seriousness of this &*%^*#* dance!! I think we all love commenting on it. We miss you when you don't post!

ok, thanks everyone!
I wish life didnt have to get in the way of this!!
anyway
I thought that meatloafing was a sign of pancreatitus?
if not then I dont have to worry...(yeah right!)

ok good, cause toneing it down would be hard for me....tht is why I did not last on the Lantus board!!

The way I view it, there is "good" meatloafing and "bad" meatloafing. Some of my cats sleep that way when they are trying to stay warm or are content, but they hold their body calmly and are not guarded in any way. I noticed a definite change in behavior when my cats got sick, but they didn't lie in that position previously so it was a definite change. In their cases they lie down in a much more hunched over, guarded position. It does not look relaxed and comfortable. Meatloafing can be a sign of a problem for sure, if the behavior is new.
