Good Evening, Everyone,

We've been out since 6:30 this morning (AMPS), with a brief trip home for PMPS before heading out again for the evening paddle report. Back home now. Rusty did pretty well today. His numbers are great. He ate all the food in his automat. And he managed to barf some of it (can't tell when, but I suspect it was shortly before I got home for PMPS, since he was really hungry at PMPS). I think it was a combination of the very warm weather and the fact that the food had been out all day. I don't know when he ate the food in the automat. Anyway, tonight I am going to freeze a puck and tomorrow put the frozen puck in the compartment that opens at +9.

We had a really nice paddle on Middle Saranac Lake to Weller Pond. It was a warm day with almost no wind. Very hazy because of the heat. We had a good group of paddlers and everyone had fun. We saw loons, hawks, and lots of bugs. The wild blueberries are ripe and we enjoyed some with our lunch.

Rusty enjoyed a visit from his friends today, as they chillaxed on the porches. Shadow was here again this evening and he and Rusty had their usual meet and greet, chase and ignore. I think Rusty enjoys the game even though he is so nonchalant.

Now, I've got to sit back and relax for a while: got way too much sun today and need to take an aspirin!. Will try to get to some condos a bit later. I hope you all are keeping cool and having a good evening.

Great numbers for Rusty today and sorry about the pukus! Nice that Shadow came to visit Rusty even though he's playing hard to get. Your paddle on the lake sounds so nice and enjoyable. Ouch on the sunburn though. Have a nice, relaxing evening.

Go Rusty - he indeed do well today. What a relief, huh! Sorry for the pukus... poor guy! no gigantus hairballitis I hope... I am glad that he is using his feeder. He will have to come and give Mannie the heads up on the value of feeders...

The paddle sounds great - I am glad too that you got a good group. Wonderful on the wildlife spotted - it is always one of my favorite parts - to head on out into the "wild" and find something that reaffirms you really are out there. So nice! Sorry on the too much sun - I hope it isn't too bad....

I just love the Shadow/Rusty meet and greet, chase and ignore. I think Rusty enjoys it more than he is letting on. Too cute!

Relax tonight, hope you feel better soon.

Rusty!!! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee your porches! I asked my bean if we could get some of those.... I don't think she thought that was a good idea... something about construction and space and permits and stuff..... bummer. Hey - are you on your own tomorrow too? Wanna hang out on the porches again, maybe dosome fishing? See you ~~ Mannie
