Looks like the bounce continues. Strange that he didn't cry for food this morning though. He turned down the baby food again with the cell advance in it and this time I only put in half a capsule. I might have to pill it if that is the issue. I put a tiny amount of tuna cat food on it and just checked and he ate it. Maybe that will be the answer. It needs a stronger tasting food to disguise the taste. Hopefully Max will surf in yellow and blue today while I am gone.

He's either still bouncing or not enough juice. Either way it looks like he is giving me permission to go to the bridal shower and not worry. I'll test at +4 before I leave and leave out food for him then. If he is yellow or pink I won't need to have my friend put out more food I would think.

Max is either still bouncing or needs to go back up. He might drop tonight. At least he gave me the chance to go to the shower without worries. That 39 he hit a few days ago was just weird as he sure is taking him time going down and maybe he won't. I hated to take that mandatory reducie as this is what tends to happen. It was timed nicely though. The shower was very nice. I came home to check on Max and change clothes. I'l head back to my mom's for a couple of hours and then come back in time for TFS.

I'm glad Max gave you permission to go to the shower without worrying about him. He came down nicely today, so maybe he's clearing that bounce. Paws crossed.

I hope you had a good time at the shower. How is your mother doing?

i think it's probably a failed reduction, elise, and would go back up. if you count 3 days forward from the 39, (thinking that maybe the higher numbers were a bounce - although it doesn't look like it to me) that would've been this morning's cycle. since he didn't get back into greens by then, i'd go back up in the morning, unless he surprises you by then with green numbers tonight.

how nice that he let you go to the shower, though. good boy, max! :-D

The shower was really nice. My mom felt sick this morning but managed to get herself together to go. She definitely has yet another UTI. There was no way I could have missed it. I will have to make sure that I plan things perfectly for the wedding. It's just 3 weeks away!!

So I think either Julie or Marje needs to talk increase every day with Max so he won't need another one. As usual a drop from 111 to 53 was unexpected to say the least. I just gave him some hc as I don't want him going any lower.

Marje, I can't believe how much he seems to take after Gracie. Maybe he will also be able to get by with less insulin at some point as well. You said it would likely take a long time to clear the bounce. I sure was lucky that he was high until tonight, wasn't I?

I think he planned it perfectly - bouncing so you could go to the shower, then diving so you wouldn't do a dosecrease! That's one smart cat! ;-)

I'm sorry your DM has another UTI. Those can be so painful.Sending healing vines for her.

My in-laws live in Rancho Palos Verdes, Elise. It was overcast all day, but the temp was perfect and we could see Catalina Island out the windows all day, so I didn't mind. I just sat around and did nothing. It was lovely!

Hope Max is up on his surfboard and lets you get some sleep!
