Hi all,

Wasn't expecting to post today from LA since the only Internet access I have is thru my iPhone.
Flight was good, tho more stressful than last time (thx TSA and crying babies)
Heads up, Junior tested at 68. I'm going to test him in another 5 min (5:55 PST). Hope it'll be a rising number. May need some guidance!

He has only had steamed chicken treats when we poke. Last time he ate was at 4:30 pst. Late meal bc of travel.

Will test him at +1 & +2.

Was not expecting how this was how I was going to spend my 1st night in LA!

June keeps meowing. Tested him @.5 to see what's going on.

Could it b stress? Where we're staying is our old condo. We lived here for 8 yrs. He was fine when we visited in May. Hope we're not heading 4a hypo

WOW - exciting night for you! Very nice numbers though. Good luck! It sounds like you will stay on top of the numbers, test and feed. Good luck - I hope he settles into a nice surf.

Perhaps all the meowing is just a reaction to a "new" place, or just traveling, or maybe even just getting reacquainted with one he used to know. He may need a little time to remember?
 
Don't you wish you understood cat language? I do the same thing....before FD I never gave any thought to Champ crying sometimes. Now I always think there has to be something wrong, what is it, is he okay, blah blah blah. I feel for ya!!! Hope your trip goes great!!
 
Yes I think it's a little bit of everything.

I think I'll b ok in monitoring, just not confident on what to do when I see low pmps #s.

Also he has had 0 appetite. Been spoon feeding him but he keeps walking away. I'm afraid to push too much where he'll barf. Also thinking ahead, do I try to leave room in his stomach for HC if drops too low? He hasn't eaten much (<1can Ff all day) but has no interest, even when I sprinkle his faces like oregano.
