Yesterday's Condo

Back to tbp today, but pretty tired and sore. Guests arrive Wednesday afternoon, so clock is ticking!!

Willie continues to be his furry purry self. He had a great weekend outside in the mornings/evenings when the sun was not so brutal. Caught this shot yesterday morning:



While he was protecting the backyard, I was working around the house. got the stairs sanded and puttied, and will be sanding and hopefully painting tonight. Also got the first of two sets of kitchen curtains made. My inspiration was this set of dish towels that I found:




This was the final product... no sewing involved! Used a pillow case, some stitch witch and some ribbon. planning to create tiebacks with leftover ribbon as well.

Wow! You were super productive! Sounds relaxing and fun. Look at Willie go! He is really digging those green numbers. Hope you have a great day!

awesome numbers Willie!

Those are very pretty curtains. I have no talents in arts and crafts or sewing. So I'm always impressed with people who can make their house so pretty themselves.

Willie is doing great, love the pic of him in the yard - beautiful yard! Sadi & Baby both love the supervised outside time too - we are practically living outdoors.. I love seeing them interact with nature.

Thankful for yet another great PS. Fuds consumed, meds given, outside time enjoyed along with a cool drink of water, bath had and now he's napping. Not a bad half an hour!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Off to tackle the stairs...
 
Okay, Willie... time to creep in the opposite direction!!

First coat of paint is on the stairs... hoping they dry enough to get a second coat on tonight. Already, though, it looks a million times better than the carpet. Glad I took the time and effort to do it (now just to convince my poor hands of that....)!

What a great day for Willie - such nice numbers!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Willie needs to come and show Mannie how to stay green once one becomes green. :lol: :lol:

I loved Willie's photo of him outside. It so reminded me of Mannie - he will send hours out there, on the lawn surveying the domain. Willie looks like he really likes his new yard. YAY!

Congrats on the house projects - your place looks wonderful -well done!
