Morning ~O) I'm kind of glad to see this high a blue, as it meant Maggie was eating overnight. Good news. Last night Mags had a healthy deposit of prezzies, nice form. dancing_cat She also had just one short fat prezzie yesterday. I skipped the Tramadol transdermal gel yesterday but feel I can give her the lowest dose today now that I see it doesn't affect her bm as much as I thought. It's so hard to tell when they have pain with cats hiding it so well. Her appy is a little better today, although she could be eating more.

I left Mags sleeping on the recliner foot stool with a new blanket. She woke me up with some vocal and I picked her up, and she slept the rest of the night next to me. Thanks for all the poo vines, positive thoughts, and the new Poop Fairy that John and PurrFace directed to Maggie's house. If anyone else needs some help, she's very good.

Have a nice day. Temps here will reach 80's. Looking forward to Elsa Lil Bit's coffee this morning.

YAY! We had prezzies!! and double YAY! Maggie ate well last night. All good news. I will continent to send appy vines for Maggie. :-D

I so know on knowing whether they are in pain or not. It was always so difficult for me to know with Mannie. he was so stoic! Sounds like a low dose for Maggie will help her remain comfortable. Good luck!

NICE on the bed sleep - good job Maggie.

Here we go again with one of Mags's early dives. :mrgreen: I think she may stay a couple hours.

Thanks Amy, I was so glad to see the zzies when I woke up. I smelled the aroma first. She usually does drop at the +3, but she's not eating as much. It could be the entree, old version of Cowboy Cookout. Thanks for the appy vines.

Michelle, thanks on the appy vines and prezzies present. It is tough to know when to give the pain med. I know it's good to be ahead of the pain, but then with Maggie's constipation, I need to use with caution and watch for signs of blocking.

Hi Ann. It made my day when I read "Mags had a healthy deposit of prezzies, nice form.". I am so happy for Maggie and you. I'll bet you did the happy prezzie dance when you saw that :lol: .

Hope Maggie has a nice safe surf. Sending her eating vines along with some poo vines to hopefully keep the poo fairy there.

This is a jump from eating some Purina Veterinary Diet fuds, and I'm surprised it's not higher.

Hi and thanks for all the visits and poo cheers for Mags. I just got home and Mags had moved to a bed I made for her on top of a storage container in the bedroom. I checked her potty (LB), and she had some diarrhea, but Mags looks okay and was wanting scritches and headbutts, so I think she's okay. When she was dropping this morning, I offered her some Purina NF Kidney Function. I really think this was what upset her tummy, as now she's fine eating Wellness Turkey. I'll keep an eye on her. :?

Thanks Melissa, Josie, Mtncat, John, Jane and Barb for the visits and poo cheers. I was out and about doing some Bean things like Pharmacy, getting gas, all that boring stuff. I had a $10.00 coupon at Petco for credits earned buying Maggie food, etc., so I bought her a new bed. I found it in the dog section. It's a real nice soft cuddler. She's always wanting to sit on a pillow or something soft.
:lol: John on the Happy Prezzie Dance. I think i've seen a dancing poo emoticon here! I also found some Wellness made in Canada which is the chunkier version that she prefers. I have to get a report off to the Vet on Mags and will be back later to visit condos.

Mags had some pretty greens today :-D it's great that she wanted scratches and headbutts.... What a good mommabean buying her a nice new cuddler bed, hope she loves it.

I have been thinking about all of you and sending feel good vines, appy vines and poo vines for all that needed them. Hope you have a good night. Hugs and scratches to Mags from me too.

I'm glad Maggie had some prezzies last night. I hope the diarrhea was a one time thing. It's nice to see those greens today. :mrgreen: That's great you were able to get her a new bed with the credits.

Hi Carla, thanks on Mags. She hasn't noticed her new cuddler bed yet, as she's still napping atop the storage container on a pile of blankets. :lol: It's cooler in the bedroom, so she left her sunny quarters for shade.

I think you've left PMPS off in your subject line. :? I replied to your question in Zener's condo there, but in case you don't get back tonight here's what I wrote about the cypro:
The cypro is Cyproheptadine and it is a prescription. It comes in 4mg pills and many vets will prescribe too much, writing 1/2 to 1 tablet per day. We cut the pills into 4ths (1mg), then half those (1/8 - 0.5mg), then half again (1/16 - 0.25mg) and sometimes we just give him slivers or crumbs from the cutting process, we call that 1/32 or less than 0.25 mg. That seems to keep him eating more steadily without any of the drowsy, anti-histamine effects. It also clears the body in about 12 hours.
