u would nvr know by his behavior! he was jst as ansty/jumpy/hungry last night and this morning as he was in the 300s. i was surprised he was only 200. hes like a lil ADHD boy. bless him. <3

i know mel! but its insane whn ur trying for a drop of blood and he cant hold still for 1 sec! aghhh
hes the best of the 6, too! i do think all cats have adhd but nothing like a hungry sugar cat. its like adhd to the 1000th power.

Lol I'm going to have Jon video Cassanova this weekend and his antics at test time. He's a riot, he races me to his spot then rubs and loves while I'm trying to hang on to an ear to test. And if I walk off without showing him is number he'll slap me or grab my arm. Then he runs to the kitchen while I get his dish ready and yells and dances all the way back to the bathroom to eat. It's hysterical.

larry is good sometimes. he will be still! i am so proud of him. he can be patient, but for whatever reason, i only get a blood drop abt 1 in every 10-20 times the lancet hits his ear. its exasperating.

Try this trick since you have numbness in your hands. Take the cap off the lancing device but don't use it to do the poke like its designed instead use it as a handle. Then pretend to be removing a splinter from the edge of his ear with a pencil. Once you poke gently push up towards where you just poked with your thumb that will push the blood towards the hole.
