HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

I hope all is well with y'all! Everyone got where they were supposed to be WHEN they were supposed to be there, so things are good here. :-D

Hershey seems well, still doesn't seem to like these HOT days. (Who does?!) He has become a lot less vocal lately, which saddens me. I realize most of his vocalizations were for food and I guess since he's not starving all the time, he doesn't have need to beg for food. He used to answer me back when I'd talk to him, but not so much anymore. I do hope that comes back... :cry:

Last night's cycle was nothing to write home about, but told me I was free to get some sleep. Wouldn't you know it? Another one of those can't sleep nights... :YMSIGH:

It's another scorcher here, so I'm trying to find something for supper that won't heat up the kitchen. It's so much easier to feed the kitties...Already prepared, just grab the next can. They're chasing each other and wrestling in the dining room floor, so all is right with the world. :lol:

Hi guys .. pretty numbers this afternoon hershey! If you want a vocal cat, I'll send mocha over to you .. I swear that cat talks just to hear her own voice :lol: It's hot here again today, but cooler then yesterday which topped out over 100 ... yeck! Where's winter? Have a great day guys!

Hey, Devon -

Yeah, it's 95 degrees here, headed for 98 within the hour, so they say. Honestly, my body doesn't know the difference between 95 and 98! Wait, don't y'all have really cold winters?! :o Ours are usually mild, but I prefer fall and spring. Why, no - I'm not spoiled at all! ;-)

Hershey thanks you for the compliment on his pretty numbers. He's celebrating with a nap :lol:

Hershey used to be allowed in the bedroom all the time. Doug got tired of waking up, not being able to feel his legs because Hershey had been sleeping on them. Now, we close the bedroom door. Hershey usually sleeps right outside the door, though. I know because the floor is WARM! Until recently, he'd cry off and on during the night, especially if he heard movement in our room or if Jessica got up, because if she was up - we should be up. (Hershey logic) OH - if the alarm was going off! Brother! He'd cry and cry. Sometimes, if he thinks we're hard of hearing, he'll put his mouth under the door and cry. But, not the last week, maybe longer. I'm sure Doug doesn't miss it, but I do. Maybe he's thrown off by Doug having a different schedule while on light duty. Guess we'll see when he goes back on his regular schedule...

My sister used to have a VOCAL cat that sounded like he was saying actual words - like yes, no and Daniel (my sister's son). Once, she accidentally called my sister and she thought it was a person on the phone! :lol: I told her she should record the kitty, but she never did.

Hershey is having such a nice blue surf! All must be well in Hershey land. :razz:

Racci is only loud when she poops and needs to be cleaned or when she's starving. If she's just hungry, she'll go to her spot where she eats and just sit there whether anyone is in the room or not, as if we're telepathic. She'll sit there for 15-20 minutes waiting! She will talk to me silently also with just her lips. It's the funniest thing. Other than that she only occasionally talks to me to complain. I guess when their needs are met they don't need to talk unless they feel like it.

It must be funny watching Hershey put his head at the bottom of the door. He probably thinks the sound doesn't carry enough through the door. Poor boy.

We have that same super hot weather, 110 with the heat index! I'd rather that than rain or winter though.

Daphne used to talk more too. I don't know if its age our what. She also would cry when she heard the alarm go off, just incase we didn't hear it already. :lol:

What a great day for Hershey!!

Gabby generally has a very tiny voice -- with a few notable exceptions. She will yell at me when I'm in the shower. I don't know if it's the echo off the tiles or if she's truly alarmed by my getting wet all over. The other time she's loud is when she's displeased by Gizmo. He just doesn't listen!

Hey, Melanie - Don't you love how they think we have mentally telepathy?? Sometimes Hershey will look at others, but usually he comes straight to me - guess he knows who butters his bread. :-D I guess you're right about them talking more when their needs aren't met, otherwise, why expend the energy?? ;-)

Hey, Denise - Yes, those blues were welcome. Wish I knew where they went at shot time. :sad: Hopin' they come back SOON!!

Hey, Sienne - :lol: :lol: I'm guessin' Gabby doesn't like getting wet? How sweet to worry about you getting wet! :lol: :lol: :lol: Poor Gabby, I don't know why Gizmo doesn't listen. Hershey has the same problem with Oreo. ;-)

Good grief, Charlie Brown...

4/7 cycles he saw blue...Will be gone to a wedding part of Saturday and pretty much all of AM cycle on Sunday. Lookin' like he's going to need an increase. Just trying to figure when...

Hey, Kim - Good to see you. We increased Hershey tonight; hope he likes it! :-D I hope all is well with you and your fur-kids!!
