whats a 5 P? Her appetite is great! Although she is extremely spoiled and prefers...and I oblige...hand feeding lol

The 5 P's are a way to tell us how your cat is feeling. Peeing, pooping, purring, preening, playing. If all 5 are present, in normal amounts, then your cat is doing well.

Izzy is more than her numbers. How she is feeling and eating are important too. We like to see that as part of your daily condo.

ah ok...she is more of a 3.5 P girl. Not much preening or playing. But she is walking better :)

As she gets more regulated, some of her old behavior will return. The peeing will decrease, she'll be more active. She'll start to groom herself more.

In a couple of weeks maybe a month, you'll look back and think "Yeah, she really is better now. Even if her numbers are a little high. I can see that she feels better."

That's what this is all about. Getting Izzy to that point where she will feel and look and walk better.

compared to when she went in to the vet's with her 800+ blood sugar...she is doing AMAZING. I can tell she feels better. She is still stiff walking but she is screaming for breakfast :) vs that first week 1/2 home all she did was lay in the corner and sleep.
