I, however, am striking out left and right. Figured out that the problems with the outside plumbing, while not outside my abilities, would cost more in tools than a house call from the home warranty company. Also discovered that my fridge is, in fact, set up for a functioning icemaker and water dispenser so the plumber can look at that too.
I did find that the realtor left behind some white paint, so got supplies to start that AFTER I work on my curtain project... a pair of pillow cases, some ribbon and stitch witch might just become the kitchen curtains I've been wanting! Going to work on that now... will post pics!! As for the stairs... I've decided to try to sand and get a coat of white paint on them. Eventually, I'd like to paint a runner using the wall color (taupe) and a stenciled design in black, but that will be a project for another month.
Hoping to get to condos tonight... home improvement work is exhausting!!
ETA... forgot to add that Dr. Seller apparently just threw a dishwasher into a hole in the wall and didn't bother to leave the mounting clips. over $45 to get two little pieces of metal!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:
