7/17 Tori AMPS 200; +6~42; +7~81; PMPS 335

Morning everybody. Thank you so much for all the prayers, snowflakes and healing vines yesterday while Tori had her newest round of chemo. She was so exhausted last night. She ate a bit for me and then we laid on the coach together. She laid in my my arms, me cuddling her like a baby for quite awhile and then when she started to get uncomfortable laid beside me and slept. Rocky came and slept with his head on my shoulder. All three of us slept like that for about 3 hours until my son and his girlfriend got home. We got up then and I tested Tori and she had gone down to 272 from 360. She had her snack and then we all went to bed for the night.

This morning when I got up she was lying on the coach looking alert and very comfortable. That 200 this morning is way better than I hoped for. We might even see some green again today. WOuldn't that be great. SHe ate a fair breakfast- a combination of FF and a little bit of the raw. Now she is sitting on the coach having her morning bath. I had a good look and feel of her leg where they tried to give her the chemo and it looks fine and isn't causing her any discomfort so that's good. Pray that it stays that way OK?

So everything looks good here this morning. I'm going to check out a few condos and then maybe go lie down for awhile. Have a good Caturday everybody. Sending many prayers for those that are grieving an worrying about their babies and a blizzard of snowflakes and healing vines for all the kitties who need them. Love ya all.

Well would you believe that? I was very surprised when I went to give her her lunch. Her ear felt cold which usually means a lower BG but I wasn't expecting that low. She ate like a little piggy and 1/2 later was 56 and again ate like a piggy. She's now at 81 and wanted to eat again so I gave her just a dab. I don't want to go sky high but who knows with her. Also she got her Prednisolone dose with her lunch which may make her go higher.

So so far she's having a real good day considering that she just got he heavy duty chemo drug yesterday. She looks like she's feeling really good. SHe's having her afternoon nap now. Sweet baby mine.

Great catch Barb! Look at Tori's numbers! She is amazing....I am so relieved that she is feeling so good, or so it would seem....eating well and acting fine. Isn't she really AMAZING!??!!!!! Please give her a special hug from me....I am so impressed and happy too.... :mrgreen:

Oh yuck did she ever bounce or it's a combination of the bouncing and also the fact that she had the Prednisolone at +6. I'm really at a loss to figure out what time of the day is the best to give it to have the least affect on her sugars. Any suggestions?

WCR- She's had a very good day. No problems at all. She's been eating fine and preening, pooping and peeing just fine. Haven't noticed any playing but yesterday was a real stressful day with the chemo and all and also she always has been a closet player. That is ever since she grew up and playing became below her dignity.

Have a good night everybody. My continued prayers for those of our babies who are sick and for their Beans and again my thanks for all of you who have been praying and sending snowflakes and vines to my little girl. They seem to be working for her and they are so so much appreciated.

l always dosed Winnie's dex at shot time. I had an advantage of having pre lantus roid curves. It is still in Winnie's profile if you want to look to see how it effected her BG. Of course dex is a little different from pred. and ECID !! :smile:
Since you Gave Tori her pred at +6 and she was 42 and shot up by +6 -- dosing at shot time might work for you too. ( of course you are right and there might be some bounce in there so hard to tease that out)
You may have to experiment a little and figure it out.
