Happy Wednesday all!

WCR: I just can't tell if there's something going on with my girl or if it's just because I'm watching her more closely than usual and I'm home sooooo much more this summer. She's just doing some things that she doesn't normally do. For example, she's been all up in my business every time I eat my food. She hasn't been this interested/obnoxious about my food in a long time. But past the initial "begging", she just seems sad or depressed or blah. Her little leg flicks (involuntary muscle spasm type thingy) have been a bit more frequent. Last night, she had several in a row (both front legs) and it looked a bit like a Rockette in training. UGH! I hate not being able to read her mind. I did get some of the best snuggles this morning when I went btb and since I've been up and working on the laptop, she's spent most of this time glued to my leg. In fact, I skipped one of her pokes because I was enjoying her being next to me!

Her appy has been fine today. I haven't checked the LB, but hopefully there are some prezzies waiting for me. I don't think she pooped yesterday. So, I'll be watching for that today. Got some purrs a while ago, but haven't seen her preening today and we haven't played yet. It's been a very inactive morning, thus far. I'll be getting up shortly to start reassembling my dress...only to cut it up later! I might actually be able to pull this off! Well, we'll see...there is no visual progress as of now, but I know what I'm going to do and how I'm going to do it. :lol: Ok, getting up.

Sorry I didn't get back onto the board last night. We had a storm roll through late last night and I shut down the computer, but never got back on. Sorry. Hope everyone had a great day yesterday.

OH...and yet again, proof that she does NOT like when I sing in the house...this is what I found when I got out of my shower last night...

I hope it's just because you're home and paying more attention. It's hard when we think something is off and can't figure out what.

I sure know how you feel. Every little thing makes you think ... what's wrong?
I have to keep reminding myself .... all the bodily functions are happening.... food in, food out...
and cats get bored too....

Maybe a new toy... don't know if you saw the one I posted the other day that I found tucked in a box.....

I also know how you feel. It's like when we are home too much, we just overanalyze every little thing they do, or don't do

And then make ourselves crazy! Hope Shasta starts acting more like herself~

Thank you Carla, Rhiannon & Jane. I spent most of my morning & afternoon answering emails and facebook messages, etc. (and watching Shasta). This weekend is my friend's memorial services; one in Jacksonville and one in Deland, so our group is coordinating performances at both services. That and trying to get my students to respond to messages about voice lessons this Friday and then working on my dress. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can finish it tomorrow. :YMSIGH:

Shasta's appy has been lovely today, but her poopy output has been pitiful. Her cattitude has been very strange and I've noticed that for the past few days she's been doing her licky lips things again. It's something that I'll notice for several weeks and then it disappears...but it's tied to something. I did get a video of it this evening and will try to post tomorrow, but it is way past my bedtime now. Thank you again for stopping by and I will do my best to take time tomorrow to visit condos and love on my kitty.

Oh, and Rhiannon, Shasta loves things that fly, too, but she loses interest in them pretty fast. She's much more a ground stalker these days! :lol: I have video of that, too! Good night!
