Putty has not bounced to pink in over a week so I was surprised to see this but he did have a surf of green last night or I should say very early this morning. This Lev late nadir thing is tough for sleeping but I am glad to see he seems to be doing better with this insulin.
I am not sure if it is my imagination but Putty seems to be much more easy going......he does not give me a hard time testing or shooting anymore. I think it just may be he does not have those huge bounces which make him feel lousy....or maybe he is just being his "polite" little self.

I wish I had something profound to say for those that have just lost their sweet babies or to the kitties that are not feeling well. My heart is heavy for all of you.

Hi Miriam, Yes, it was hard to say farewell to so many kitties this week. And the ones who are not feeling well need our good thoughts. I like to think that each day is a new day, and each day can be a good day.

It looks like Putty decided he wanted most of the colors on his ss today. I am glad he decided to stay away from my one of them.
This should be his low point now and he will start to go up. I have to learn to wrap my head around this late nadir Lev thing. ohmygod_smile

We were going out to dinner so when he was green for ps I figured he would go up from there. I tested right before I left and he did not have the usual spike he has been having so I was a little nervous about leaving. I gave him HC at +2 before I left and left a lot of HC in the timed feeder at +3.5. I guess the good thing with Lev is his nadir is later so I am hoping he did not go lower and that may still come later. Just when I thought I had it all figured out he throws another curve ball at me. :roll:

Yes, I believe I can see him with one paw cupped over his mouth while he's giggling and pointing at Miriam with his other paw.
