7/17 Max AMPS 236 +3 403 +6 284 +8 148 PMPS 107

Does anyone know what is happening to Max? I understand bouncing but is this bouncing? When he was on higher doses before, he had very short bounces, if any. He also was going lower than his safety margin so, the reductions were necessary. I wish I could understand this but it makes no sense to me at all. He is IAA, but we didn’t think that was a big factor because he was barely above the normal range. The SRT has obviously kicked in. I don’t know if something else is going on that I don’t know about here. He doesn’t seem to feel bad. No changes in his food, other than I’m watching the phosphorus more carefully. It is all LC food that’s anywhere from 2-7 percent usually. Don’t get it. I wish someone could help me to understand and make me feel a little better about this. Is it normal for this to happen? If it is, then that’s fine. I just want to know if I’m missing something somewhere. Any ideas at all appreciated. @Wendy&Neko @FrostD

This is cycle 5 of the bounce, and I suspect some of the wonkiness is the changing doses.

He'll clear it tonight of course, because that's what cats do lol

I rather think that +3 was bad strip...or high end of meter variance I guess.

That’s right, I forgot about the wonkiness when increasing doses. I just had the mind set of him coming down like he had been. Thanks, I guess it’s just me worrying about somebody (Max) who can’t talk back to me. It’s so much harder to take care of cats than people, or at least Max anyway. He’s high maintenance for sure.

Some cats go higher before breaking a bounce. One of many reasons we say not to fret over temporary high numbers or increase because of them. I hav3 heard lots of people with post SRT cats comment on bounciness.
