Morning and we're at a low yellow this morning, almost blue. Maggie pie is feeling good this morning in spite of her up and down numbers, partly to blame on a strange box of syringes and my micro dosing. I am going to try a new brand online. All P's in place, even the lb. Maggie is not too playful yet but plenty of talking when I was taking a shower. Every time I take a shower, I hear her talking and telling me to hurry up??? She is presently asleep on a chair on a comfy pink blanket right in front of the patio hoping to see her ex boyfriend meandering by on his way down to see my next door neighbor's younger female kitty! Have a nice Sunday. I have laundry when the LR opens and then an early morning walk,

I think that yellow looks more blue than yellow... right Maggie? It is good to read that she is feeling good - always the best. It is too funny about the meowing while you are in the shower... Hurry up?, and maybe she misses you... what a sweet girl! Does she still look for the ex-boyfriend?

Enjoy your walk this morning - I am about to do the same, before the rains show up...

Looks like Maggie is now blue :razz: best to you with the new syringes I use BD brand myself started out with relion and did not like them.

Hi Michelle, now we're back to blue. Maggie is dropping later today as she had two mini breffifs after her shot, and unfortunately, I had to give in to some FF Chicken Feast, as she was picking around the Wellness and giving me that stare!

Hi Lisa and Do Lou, yes Magie seems to like the blues and will probably surf the day away! I've heard a lot of the Beans mention the BD brand.

Hated hated hated the BD brand. They varied by up to a half unit and 30% of them were off enough I didn't use them. Make sure zero is zero in the BDs.

I would love this. I'd have a long conversation with her and be thankful it wasn't 3AM. I love that she's a talker.

Hi Karrie, can I ask which syringes were you using. I have bookmarked some syringes Sienne uses from Hocks, but I heard some of you were having a difficult time with Hocks.

The monojects were really accurate. A lot of people complain about bubbles with them though. I didn't have an issue. The only monojects I could get up here were the ones with this really annoying safety sleeve.

Celi's on a roll w her pictures today. Or maybe its that I've been able to get to a few more condos than normal.

Nice to see Maggie come down. I love that she talks to you when you're in the shower.

I also left the BDs behind...yuck.....too much variation. I use the Monojects like Ann and Michelle. Sienne uses GNP and likes them but someone else told me they didn't like them.

Yes...I had alot of problems getting my last order from Hocks. I'm trying American Diabetes Wholesale this next time.

Hi Ann, Just popping in to recommend Monojects (31 gauge, 1/2 unit markings, short needle). These are the ones I order from American Diabetes Wholesale (very fast shipping; excellent prices):

Get the 0.3cc. They don't specify on the order page that these have 1/2-unit markings, but they do. With the 31 gauge I never get air bubbles. The marks are extremely accurate.

Hi Karrie, thanks for the info on the Monojects syringes. Yes, Celi is really on a roll with the hilarious pics to suit each occasion. It's cute with Maggie talking. She never used to be a talker. My GA Siamese kitty was always the talker, but ever since he crossed the Bridge, Maggie picked up on it and started talking.

Hi Marje, thanks for the recommendation. This is the first time I've had to order them online. Normally the Walgreens have been okay, but this box is very strange with the lines. Yes, I love when Maggie talks to me in the shower. Yes, I did get an early walk in today just around the neighborhood. I want to try and get a beach walk in this week.

Hi Melissa, I did get some things done today but not the cleaning. I was waiting for the fairy cleaner to come in and do a good sweep, but he/she was a no show!

Hi Ella, thanks very much for the link on the Monojects from American Diabetes Wholesale. I get Maggie's Alpha Trak glucose strips from ADW, and they arrive within a few days after ordering. That's great to hear about the no bubbles and accurate marking.
