Yesterday's Condo

Gabby is a very hungry girl this morning. She informed me that it was not nice that Gizmo was eating while she was getting poked. She cleaned his bowl a bit prematurely according to Gizmo just to underscore her point.

We're expecting another very hot day.

Gel eye-masks cooled in the freezer and wrapped round the back of the neck. I'm telling you. Saved my life in 45 degree weather in Pakistan! :mrgreen:

Lol, Jane!! Since I don't have the gel masks, I'll settle for air conditioning. Frankly, the image of a blue gel eye mask wrapped around the kitties is just too silly, no matter if they appreciate it or not!

We have a hot weather kitty routine here. We do swirly ice belly. I take an ice cube and rub on the furry kitty bellies in a spiral fashion. The kitties love it and it makes for a nice design we can chuckle over and photograph afterwards :lol:

I agree with Gabby, having to listen to someone else nom, nom, nom while getting a pokey is not fair. :-x No need to skydive, Gabby, try one of Zener's slides. Ice cubes on the belly? :shock:

Sienne, I do the same thing. I put Oreo's food out to give him a head-start. Of course, both kitties head over, but I scoop Hershey up and whisk him away to the testing chair. He doesn't seem to appreciate Oreo having food while he is left to starve AND get poked!

Gabby - Yes, yellow is prettier than...say...pink or red...but, it's not as pretty as blue or green. How 'bout trying one of those soon?!

Y'all are a hoot! I can see Hershey writhing in agony, trying to get the gel pack off! And, swirling ice cubes on their bellies?! Well, I'll leave that for Doug to try! :lol:

You are really nice to give Gizmo a head start, even if Gabby doesn't think so. She gets extra mama bean attention so that is reward. We hold all food until pokies are done since it would be a serious cat fight. Of course I have no CPC members in my house. They are more like grazers. Have a great day Sienne!
