Last time …

My pet sitter missed Faraday’s morning shot (8am). Does this mean I can shoot a more normal time of 6pm and not have to step it back slowly from 8pm??

I went ahead and gave insulin @6:30pm (1.5 hours early). I can keep a close eye tonight and this means I’ll be able to keep a better eye on the earlier part of his cycles this week (getting at least a +1, 1.5, 2 as we get closer to normal!) instead of having to shoot and run.

Also, his « PMPS » at 6:30pm was 225 - but that wasn’t necessarily fasting, as he’d been free feeding from 11am-6pm.

Once you know how much his bg goes up after eating no need to adhere to the no food two hours before insulin. For me if Max had been running low I’d always pick up the food though.
