All is pretty quiet on the Trixie front, and I like it that way! I still haven't had to assist feed her, and she is slowly bit by bit eating a teeny bit more from a plate that is on the floor....slowly. Kitten steps! No green this morning, but Mr P still reported for duty after being enticed with some fuds.
We had more wicked storms last night, but fortunately the power stayed on. We thought the thunder portion had settled down when we started Trix's fluids, but we were about half way through and a boomer that was right on top of the house hit. Trix is hardly ever rattled by anything like that, but with thunder that shook the house, she took off with a fat tail, spraying fluids all over the bathroom as the needle pulled out! I did end up re-sticking her....I didn't feel she had enough in her and I'm afraid of rocking her boat of feeling good by straying from all that we are doing right now. Poor girl...she was understandably pretty tense for that second needle stick, but we lucked out and there were no more huge claps of thunder.
I'm still thoroughly exhausted from the bead show last weekend, but I'm back at work today...woohoo  . But, I'm off again tomorrow
!
Sending extra prayers out to J.D. and Lucy, and Sienne as she mourns the passing of her sister....
Have a great day, LL!
