hi all,
i slept not much last night...and as usual...MR ROCKET waking me up in the wee hrs...so this morning i had set up the alarm (as always) for his last med at 7 am....and i must have turned it off in my non coherent state of mind that when i woke up it was 8:10 am!!! ohmygod_smile so....i rushed out of bed and fed a snack to be able to give the pred and bupe (that's the meds he needs at 7 am)....i'm still doing this ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

AMPS 220

currently he wants nothing to do with food....licked a little bit of his 10:30 snack...and is on the balcony sunbathing.....taking in the fresh air he gets to miss out on during the week!

DH gets up early to read his paper and keeps an eye on Rocket (at least that's what he tells me)....so that i can have a sleep!!! and trust me...i must have needed it cause i went back to bed after his med and woke up at 10:30 and i feel much much better....

off to run errands here shortly...need to stock up on Rocket's food and need to get litter....

will visit condos later....i feel awake!!! yay!!!

keeping Karrie and Hefner...as well as Guinness....and also Georgia, Simon and Cleo.....in my prayers today

Claudia, you definitely deserve a few extra hours sleep on the weekend. Not a bad AMPS for Rocket this morning and I love that he is enjoying the balcony today. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Sorry your morning started with a jolt.

I am wishing he will start eating better for you today. Even if you have to tempt him with some icecream. Its going to be crazy hot here today and tomorrow (36 without humidity).

You are sleep deprived. Glad you were able to make up a small amount of your deficit. Darren gets some hubby points today.

No need to keep Hefner on your thought list. He is doing great. He looks happy and healthy and eating well. Thank you for being there. Your support always means so much to me. You are right - I was thinking about how he wasn't a Maverick. I want a big furry Main Coon (of any colour) and I have three non-Maverick's. It must be meant to be.
 
he hasn't had much to eat....adding tuna water has helped but it is hot here today...from what we are used to.....he is infront on the tv right now....it is cooler there next to the fan and the floor is cooler too...he is still sociable so i will blame the weather for his lack of appy.... :YMSIGH:

will have to give him ice cream later....sending DH to buy some as we only have chocolate left....
 
The heat really knocks my kitties' appetites down. Of course, even though it consistently happens, it always make me nailbite_smile .

Perhaps the ice cream will be nice and refreshing for Rocket! Have a wonderful evening!

Wow what a crazy way to wake up this morning! The heat is certainly making some kitties not interested in their fud. Short of moving to the North Pole, don't know what to tell ya!
