Good morning, LL  .
I'm keeping ((Kathie)) in my thoughts today, and sending healing love to her heart.

Ripley is doing very well today. Good LB action, good appy, good job jumping in and out of the tub for a taste of water.

I added a tiny drop to her dose Sunday night, but haven't seen much change in her numbers.
I'm considering taking her in for a urinalysis this week, just to make sure there isn't a UTI lurking (as she tends to be asymptomatic).
She seems to be feeling fine/normal, though.

Also, I'm going to start phasing her beloved Cowboy Cookout from her meals. She currently gets half-Wellness Turkey and half-Cowboy Cookout with each meal (to make the Wellness more tasty for her), but now that there's a 'new & improved' formula for the CC, and Merrick won't know any of the nutritional values for at least several more months, I want to save the last few cans of CC that I do have for any appy emergencies that may arise in the future.
I hope she doesn't notice the gradual change...

OT: A critter (racoon?) got our neighbor's chickens 2 nights ago  nailbite_smile ~ last night we reinforced our chicken pen, and also covered our small turtle pond. All seems to be good this morning, but every little sound woke me up last night. Looking forward to Elsa's delivery... I'll take 2 of everything, please, Lil Bit!

Re: 7/16 Ripley AMPS 129

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

It's a nice start for Ripley today. Yesterday too. Perhaps it takes a few days for the new dose to kick in. ?? Mannie was always such a slow processor when I changed things. I will hope you see results soon. Looking for those greens Ripley - you can do it!

Interesting on the Merrick. I had read that they have changed things. It is unfortunate that one has to wait so long to see nutritional values. One would think they would have worked some of that out before they changed things. I dunno.... Mannie loved the CC, it was a staple fuds for us.

Oh no (!!) on the neighbors chicken raid. I can see how any little noise would keep you awake.

Enjoy your day today. I hope it is a good one.

Auntie Josie! NO WORRIES!! I am on my way. I will bring lots of everything, extra shots too. You needs it! Watch fr me, I am headed out the door now. I gots to save Auntie Mary too! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Re: 7/16 Ripley AMPS 129

Morning Josie, oh do we have another "tub kitty?" :-D I love hearing stories of how they like to drink faucet water. Mags can't make that jump in this tub with her short, cute legs.
I was thinking the same as Michelle, that maybe the new dose takes a few cycles yet to know if it will hold.
Paws and vines crossed for your chickens to remain safe. Have a wonderful day.

Re: 7/16 Ripley AMPS 129, +8.5 96

Hmmm, a little higher than I'd like to see this afternoon... But she is having a restful afternoon, sleeping on my bed on one of her many blankies :-D .

Hi, Michelle :-D Yes, I need to find those patience pants. I'm ready to add another drop if I need to, though ;-) . It is too bad the pet food companies are allowed to release product without knowing what exactly is in it  . Such a bummer it's so unregulated. Thanks for the coffee, Elsa, you saved the day!

Hi, Ann :-D Ripley used to be able to drink from the bathroom sink, but now is limited to the faucet closest to her level; I'd say she clears the edge of the tub about 75% of the time, as there's some weakness/slipping sometimes. She forgets that she doesn't NEED to drink water anymore, due to the fluids.

Hi, Devon :-D Thanks on the numbers (not too shabby!). Our animals are #1, so we will hopefully keep them all safe. So far, so good...

OT: I just read about a house that burned down in San Jose, Ca; it was a home for rescued cats, waiting to be neutered and placed in new homes. Nearly 100 kitties perished, about 6 were ok. The woman who lived there was also ok. So tragic. A sad reminder to check your smoke detectors.

Re: 7/16 Ripley AMPS 129, +8.5 96

Hi Josie, oh my, how sad with the rescue house and the kitties that perished. That is so hard to even grasp.

I was at Petco and found a few cans of the old version Cowboy Cookout, Mags for some reason doesn't seem to care for it any more though. I guess I bought it just in case she changes her mind. I'm feeding part script food and part regular food.

Re: 7/16 Ripley AMPS 129, +8.5 96

I'm glad Ripley is doing so well. Hopefully you'll see some results from the new juice soon. That is so sad about the home for rescued kitties.
