:lol: :lol: I look at this recap and well -- no wonder I feel tired this morning! I may have to brew pot #2 of ~O) .... It was really a great day for Mannie yesterday - great numbers!, alot of green surfin'. It has been a while since I have had to bring out the gravy - the 51 early on last night kind of required it. SO.... not to surprised to see that 334 this morning. We fed alot of carbs last night, and well we seem to have bounced a little as well. I hope he clears it quickly. Put Mr. Liver back to sleep Mannie. Great job yesterday big guy! Your bean luvs ya. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand this morning... though the boy is tired, and apparently in need of his nanners. :-D I left him there last night after the last and um-teenth pokie, and found him still there is this morning, wrapped around all 6 of them. :lol: :cool: Mannie.... this morning you can sleep... no need for pokies. :cool: :razz: Of course this all meant that the kitty choir was one member short this morning. Bj had to carry the load, Mannie was MIA, Elsa was non-committal. :shock: No wonder that when all assembled for fuds delivery that BJ whacked both of them, especially Elsa, for their lack luster performance. :lol: you see... the bean overslept, some, and all was running late.... :roll: We had a good test feed shoot this AM, clean plate club status maintained. Auto feeder ignored, as it always is, and that went to Elsa, while Mannie waited to be served... no auto feeder for him.... normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am off shortly to have by car serviced - 120K maintenance, tires, alignment, suspension.... and hopefully they will find nothing else... Love my car, after ten years it still gets 35mpg... even still today will cost mega $$$$. :shock: :roll:

My friends!!!! ooooooooooo I so feel the need for some fun stuff today!! Maybe hang gliding, or dune buggys, or kitty hiking, or track and field, or... I dunno! what do you guys think? see you soon, OK? ~~ Mannie

You must be ultra exhausted after that poke fest last night! Good luck with your car. My car is 11 years old and still going strong with 160,000 miles on it. Although I would love a brand new car, I am still happy that mine is still running great and with no car payment. More money to spend on the kitties! Have a wonderful day!

Hi Michelle, I should say you can have two Starbucks White Chocolate Mochas after that poke fest last night, or better yet, go for straight Espresso! I hope Mannie soon clears the bounce. Good luck with the car maintenance. I am also hanging onto my car and taking it in for regular maintenance to help keep it longer. Have a nice day.

Hi Bonnie - that is so true!! They have been working overtime. I guess we should all cut them some slack! It is funny though how much I rely upon that cat making sure I get up on time! :roll: :lol: --- and thx on the car. I've had it a long time, it's done me well.

Hi Georgia - I hear ya on the car thing - it is the same for me. No way do I want or need a car payment, so we will keep this one running well. I like this one, runs great, no complaints! and so true!: no payments frees up alot of cash for the furkids. :cool: :cool: :razz: --- and affirmative on the fatigue thing... not doing too bad this morning - the ~O) always helps!

Hi Ann - Oh you are so right - I should have gotten two this morning. I one wore off too fast..... :lol: :lol: :lol: sheshhhh - what a day yesterday. I love to see him have days like that, but wow: the work and the endless hours spent... I too hope he clears his soon. The +4 is promising - I wonder if he will continue down, or surf the yellows. It could go either way with him. --- There seems to be alot of us holding onto our cars. I can't fathom the expense of new one.. that and the increased cost for insurance.. :shock:

Oh wow....looking at your recap makes ME exhausted....but what an absolutely terrific day. I know you had to carb him some but it's not like the days of old where every green cycle he had to be carbed. He may be starting to like this dose a little too much ;-) ;-) :lol:

Poor BJ....left all alone to wake the oversleeping bean! Mannie and Elsa deserved the whacks, for sure.

Good luck on the auto repair. It is so expensive these days. Glad you love your car!! I finally got one I love and plan to hang on to for quite some time.

Mannie....wasn't that awesome floating around the pool last night (although you did a little too much time below the surface). We can all chillax here today..pool time, beans are home, yummy foods/drinks. What do you think? Bring the whole crew!

Guess you earned your supper with your recap!! Good job. Say, you reference some cat food w/ % cards that I have not be able to find on Binky's List, etc. Do you have a list of your foods with % carbs that you can easily share?? Or if you have a reference link, that will work too. Thanks a bunch!

Hi Marje - oh yeah... yesterday was fun. And true on the carbing - not like days of old when I was going through gravy like crazy! That aspect is better. Now if he could just get the liver thing in line... :roll: and LOL on BJ - she had to be a solo act today with a non-responsive bean. :lol: :lol: She figured she did the work, the others could wait. -- and yep on the auto repair - they just called, noting new in addition to what I already knew, so that's good. Just expensive!

Hi Susan - on the foods - ok. For the most part I use Janet and Binky's list (the old and the new). There some that are not included there that i use alot - mostly the fancy feast ones - they are my MC, HC foods. Alot of the %'s I have had to do on my own, or have gotten from people here on the board that posted what they had learned from FF etc ( Ann of Ann and Tess, and Marje from Marje and Gracie- they are great sources, and may have a list). I've just made notations on Binky's list, and really don't have a list. I'm not sure if Binky's list has been updated since we started two years ago - I know FF went through some food formula changes.... I've noticed that Binky's list doesn't have the FF gravy lovers, or alot of the grilled or marinated varieties. I have read several people post that the Gravy lovers comes in at 14-15%, has lots of gravy. For the others I've just followed Binky's instructions on how to do it - problem is is finding the as fed values vs the guaranteed analysis values... Sometimes I have used the GA value, when I've been unable to obtain the fed as. It's close... There was a guy that posted a great excel SS on the high end foods (like Merrick, Blue wilderness) LINK: I hope this attachment works - it not let me know, I can try and send it in a PM. It was a condo a while back, and I can't seem to find it... I hope this helps - I will post it in your condo as well...

Hi Christie - me too on the bounce. I wish that chart was posted somewhere... I know i was in a condo, but heck - I can't find that... I had saved the chart on my PC. I remember the guy saying he was going to forward it to Janet and Binky so that they could incorporate it into theirs, but I dunno if he ever did... it's rally a great chart!

it always amazes me that you can have such a great day one day, and the next is well.... you'd just as soon bury it. I should have napped, like CD said! stoopid bean.... but I did get my car fixed - WOW! fix a few things and it's like driving a new one.. well sort of. can I bury the charge slip? along with Mannie's numbers? probably not, huh... well at least pmps is down from his +11. :-D

Hi Melissa - oh affirmative on the tired thing - well for me it's more like I just couldn't get out of slow gear today... :lol: and yes - it is all worth it when those kind of numbers just keep coming in on the meter. smiles of YAY!!!

Thanks Ann - I expect he will settle in here, maybe surf the yellows... might make blue. I'd be happy with the blue surf. then I know I can sleep tonight, YAY!!!

Hi Ella! Looks like the kitties are off to the lagoon... so much they did today: hiking, pool party at Gracie's and now the lagoon. how do they do it?!? I want their energy level... and yes, just a little slow today, not my usual getup and go. :lol: :lol: I hope Mannie can surf this now - I really did not think he would go green... silly me! he did this a week or so ago... pink ps, down to green. YAY!, I think.... :-D

Hi Marje - didn't quite expect this... though he did have a very similar cycle a week or so ago... all pink with the same yellow pattern, only to turn around in the evening and go major green. This one isn't as low in the greens.. but still. holy carp is right. I'm elated, but on the other hand I haven't really recovered from yesterday's night run yet... sheshhhhh -

83 @ +6.5, fed a little more LC. DH will feed him again @ +8, 4% LC. I believe that we have slowed, I don't expect any more drops. so.... off to be for me! YAY!!!

Hey Marje - :lol: :lol: yeah, I did expect to be in bed by now... it's OK though. It is nice to see the green. :mrgreen: :cool: :razz: He's slowed with the +6.5, so... fed him again, he'll get more at +8 - he should surf this... paws crossed!! Tomorrow will be interesting... I had hoped to go hike, an all-day one, we shall see....
 
I certainly know how you feel in the sleep deprived arena!! Mannie's doing splendidly, though, so well worth it.

Hey Mannie, dude!!! I'll for sure meet you at the green lagoon. It's been so hot here and I've been sooo bored!!! It'll be fun seeing you and all the other green kitties!!
