WOOT!! Another BLUE day in MannieLand. :cool: :cool: It really is nice to see Mannie posting these blue surfs. I sure do hope it continues. Rumor yesterday was that the Blue Mannie Group was seen performing live on a sailboat somewhere out in the waters of the PNW.... along with some very blue fishing poles. :lol: :lol: Like the other day he spiked at +10, way up to the pink zone, but by PMPS he was starting to bring that back down. All in all - a very good day for Mannie. Today is the LAST DAY of the meds for his Giardia. WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and bye bye nasty bug. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It apparently was been rearrange the nanners day here yesterday. I left him on top of the nanner pile when I went hiking, came home to find them scattered across the living room floor. :shock: I asked him what was up, an his response was - "Huh? They look good to me..." well ok then, guess all was good to go. When I woke up his morning and went to get him for his test he was back to sleeping on top of a pile. I guess scattered wasn't so good after all. :lol: :lol: He and Elsa were so close to a whack-a-thon this morning. The stare down was in place, the whiskers twitching, the paws slightly raised.... but! nobody whacked. darn it! I miss those morning whack-a-thons that used to go down here when BJ was still with us. :? :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, again :shock: , and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, yet again.... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Despite all that I will still say: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure what will go down here today... I need to tend to things :? , but also would really like to go hiking :-D . well, we shall see what presents itself as the morning gets going. :cool:

Hey everybody! WOO HOO on sailing yesterday! WHAT FUN! I really liked the shoreline cookout too. Who knew fresh caught fish could taste so good - we did! What'd'ya guys wanna do today? You guys wanna go cycling? M y bean keeps going on and on about this race thingie in France - she says it is so cool. I dunno... looks like alot of work to me! Maybe we could just take a chillaxin' day or sumthin' - Hey Rusty! can we come and hang out on your porches??? Can we? let me know - I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Here are some photos from my hike adventure yesterday - Lake Padden in Bellingham. The weather could have been better, butt he lake was pretty, and the hike a nice low level easy one. Nicholas and I have been here before: yesterday I did the whole thing, to see what it was like, full circle. There is a very nice lake loop hike there. What a wonderful Blue Mannie report! I'm sure you are both absolutely thrilled to be done with the meds and that nasty bug!!

What gorgeous pictures of the lake...it looks so peaceful!

Hi Amy - yupp, I love blue days. :-D and oh yes on the last day of meds!!!!! WOO HOO, big time. :-D :-D :-D :-D Thanks on the pics - it is a nice place. There is a section that is very people oriented, and that can get a little crazy. the rest is nice and calm and peaceful.... :cool:

Morning Michelle and thanks for the ~O) ~O) . I'm shooting an hour later but still need the same amount of coffee! Great with all the blues. Mags has been staying in blue and joining the Blue Mannie Group tuning up her back-up singing. Gorgeous pics of Lake Padden. I have a feeling you and DGS may take an adventure there this week. Such neat places in your area and four seasons, too. Woohoo for the last days of the meds! That will be a relief to get that over and done with, I know. Very nice cycle, Mannie. Maybe a visit to the lagoon today?

Hey Mannie, my beans are a little crazy about that bike race too! It does look kinda fun. Maybe we could rent a camper van and go hang out in the Pyrenees? We could grill something and wait for the 10 seconds of seeing the riders flash by. :roll: :cool: :lol: ~Z

Almost there, Mannie. Tess is teasing me today too. It looks like a nice day to get things done. Beautiful pix yet again. Do you ever think about crossing the border to get insulin? or is it too much of a hassle?

Hi Ann - Yupp, that is was, and I did get some done until I'd had enough of that and thought: far too nice to be inside - so off I went. A local rural trail. FUN!! I have thought about going to Canada to get the insulin - I just never do.... BY the time one drives there, and goes through the border crossing, and customs, it can be your morning. The border crossing can be either really cool, or the longest wait ever, especially if you are bringing things back. So.... somehow the hassle wins out. :? :?

Tess - I am so there too! heeheehee on you swopping and soaring yesterday - and ya know what? my bean didn't eve share any of that scone.... shesshhh!!! silly bean.... OK! The porches it is - works really good for me. I like chillaxin' there. Bring the furrari? ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie, It's a great day for the porches--not too hot. I'll whip up some lemonade for later, when we get back from the bike ride. We can ride around a local pond. Maybe we'll make cimmamum cookies. Tobey has been wanting some.

How wonderful that today is the last day for the giardia meds! YAY!! Now the Blue Mannie Group can really celebrate with a great jam session tonight. Come on, Mannie, put on your blue shirt and get out of that pink one!!

That lake is beautiful. It looks a lot like an Adirondack lake, especially in the first picture with the tall grasses growing out of the water.

Have a lovely evening as you celebrate the end of the giardia!

Well hmmmm. Mannie found the pink floor? I'll give you a break after all those blues yesterday big guy, but not for long. Funny on the nanners. Tarragon does the same thing. Scattered everywhere one minute then all hauled into his cubes the next. DH teases him and throws them everywhere. Ohhhh that causes the slitted stare.

Hi Ella - YAY!!! I just gave the last of the giardia meds! WOO HOO!!!! We are both very happy that we are done with that awful stuff. Looks like Mannie forgot the Blue Mannie Group part... maybe he could wear a blue body suit over that flamboyant pink thing he has on now... :lol: :lol: Thanks on the pics. ALot of that lake has sections that are like the one photo: lots of reeds, tall grasses. It is really very pretty on a sunny day. and a big YES on celebrating the end of the giardia. WOO HOO - now In just hope he follows up with a clean slate when we recheck for this in a few weeks. paws crossed.

Hi Melissa - YUPP on the pink fllor. This si what he does ever since we started the panacur for the giardia. It will be interesting to see if the does this tomorrow, now that we are done with the panacur. :lol: :lol: on your DH scattering the nanners - that made me laugh. I can so see that slitted stare....
