Good Morning LL!!
(LOTS, just cuz I love
), and Happy Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! I have to admit that they are pretty good! And whomever sent me a text that said they wanted a tuna mocha? well.... forgets it! I have my limits, and tuna mocha is one of thems... we leave the tuna in them tuna pies.
so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!
My deepest sympathies to Kathie, who mourns the loss of Smokey, and Zeus, both in such a short period of time. Fly free little ones, we will miss you.
I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Mine was good, nothing eventful, but it was good. I got to see William, so that was always a plus!
This is what a wrote about yesterday in last night's post: "Hi everyone! UGH........... 3.5 hours of yard work, and I had to stop. the yard waste bins are full. But I did get alot done.
We have been lucky - sunny skies, warm temps @ 82, a slight breeze. YAY!it is actually rather nice out there. I am glad however that I went to the shore in the morning for my walk/hike. The sun was just making it over the tops of the trees onto the shore. Sure was pretty! I spent a few hours there before heading home. The tide was low enough that I could walk down to the pier too. The thing is so run down and dilapidated, but it is still a nice visit, makes for some great photos. Of course I took some.... duh! Erin and William showed up just after I got home. YAY! We were able to hang out some before she had to meet the other side of the family for lunch, where some who hadn't met William yet could. Erin says it was a nice time, and they were more than grateful to have the chance to meet William. Nicholas was one happy dude, as he got to eat at Red Robin.
Picassa links: shore photos, daisy photos (DGS LOVES these!) and the William photos. Sorry no yard work photos.   That was rather boring... More Meadowdale...., Nicholas's Daisy Patch, and William

My DD was amazed at how well Lola and Bug play together. She hasn't really seen them In action, so it was nice that they decided a play session was in order while she was here yesterday.
  They were running EVERYWHERE! over the banisters, under the tables, leaping off the sofa, rolling down the hall, kicking everything off the coffee table.... etc etc etc.   Her comment: "I'm glad they live here."   Followed by "wow - they are so cool, so fun!" Yes, that they are. Elsa, Lola and Bug all share breffis lunch and dinner together now - how cool is that! They get along so well. Lola continues to drink form the faucet. She doesn't demand it, but does come running when she hears it turn on. Bug continues to leave all his kitty toys on the kitchen floor. I pick up he scatters them once again. They must play well there, it is his room of choice.
Elsa still rules the roost here, and rightfully so. She leaves Lola and bug to do what they will, plays with them when she wants, which really isn't often. She still prefers Mannie's Nanners, her toy of choice. That I believe is probably Mannie's doing. I know Lola and Bug like catnip, they LOVE it, but oddly enough they do not touch the nanners. Somehow I think Mannie has made it known that those go to Elsa. Rightfully so. Mannie said so.
Have a great day everyone. I am off to Seattle later today to meet my friend for coffee and news. Not much else planned, more than likely clean the house , which seems to be postponed more often than it is done.  I am looking forward to today - we have sunny skies once again, with the promise of 85. WOW on that - two whole weeks of 80 degree weather. I cannot remember the last time that happened.
