Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS, just cuz I love ~O) ), and Happy Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! I have to admit that they are pretty good! And whomever sent me a text that said they wanted a tuna mocha? well.... forgets it! I have my limits, and tuna mocha is one of thems... we leave the tuna in them tuna pies. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

My deepest sympathies to Kathie, who mourns the loss of Smokey, and Zeus, both in such a short period of time. Fly free little ones, we will miss you.

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Mine was good, nothing eventful, but it was good. I got to see William, so that was always a plus!   :-D :-D :-D :-D This is what a wrote about yesterday in last night's post: "Hi everyone! UGH........... 3.5 hours of yard work, and I had to stop. the yard waste bins are full. But I did get alot done. :-D We have been lucky - sunny skies, warm temps @ 82, a slight breeze. YAY!it is actually rather nice out there. I am glad however that I went to the shore in the morning for my walk/hike. The sun was just making it over the tops of the trees onto the shore. Sure was pretty! I spent a few hours there before heading home. The tide was low enough that I could walk down to the pier too. The thing is so run down and dilapidated, but it is still a nice visit, makes for some great photos. Of course I took some.... duh! Erin and William showed up just after I got home. YAY! We were able to hang out some before she had to meet the other side of the family for lunch, where some who hadn't met William yet could. Erin says it was a nice time, and they were more than grateful to have the chance to meet William. Nicholas was one happy dude, as he got to eat at Red Robin. Picassa links: shore photos, daisy photos (DGS LOVES these!) and the William photos. Sorry no yard work photos.   That was rather boring... More Meadowdale...., Nicholas's Daisy Patch, and William

Normalcy in MusketeerVille. :-D :-D  My DD was amazed at how well Lola and Bug play together. She hasn't really seen them In action, so it was nice that they decided a play session was in order while she was here yesterday.   They were running EVERYWHERE! over the banisters, under the tables, leaping off the sofa, rolling down the hall, kicking everything off the coffee table.... etc etc etc.   Her comment: "I'm glad they live here."   Followed by "wow - they are so cool, so fun!" Yes, that they are. Elsa, Lola and Bug all share breffis lunch and dinner together now - how cool is that! They get along so well. Lola continues to drink form the faucet. She doesn't demand it, but does come running when she hears it turn on. Bug continues to leave all his kitty toys on the kitchen floor. I pick up he scatters them once again. They must play well there, it is his room of choice. :-D Elsa still rules the roost here, and rightfully so. She leaves Lola and bug to do what they will, plays with them when she wants, which really isn't often. She still prefers Mannie's Nanners, her toy of choice. That I believe is probably Mannie's doing. I know Lola and Bug like catnip, they LOVE it, but oddly enough they do not touch the nanners. Somehow I think Mannie has made it known that those go to Elsa. Rightfully so. Mannie said so.

Have a great day everyone. I am off to Seattle later today to meet my friend for coffee and news. Not much else planned, more than likely clean the house , which seems to be postponed more often than it is done.  I am looking forward to today - we have sunny skies once again, with the promise of 85. WOW on that - two whole weeks of 80 degree weather. I cannot remember the last time that happened. :-D :-D :-D ;-)

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Hi, Michelle, I agree with your DD: I'm glad they live with you, too. (And, obviously, they're VERY glad to be there!) :-D
How sweet that Elsa approves, too. All is good in Three Musketeerville. :-D

Enjoy your day today!

Hey Lil Bit - Tuna Tuesday! I see they're going with the theme pies! Kewl! I'm going to place a huge order - have them make 20 pies, I'm having a party at my place to help everyone feel better and say goodbye to Smokey and help her bean feel better.

But first, I'm laying in bed merowing orders to my bean who doesn't get it. She just says What and smooches my head! Yuck! Right where I can't reach it to wipe it off. Tell Ollie to bring his special head smooch removal sponges - I need lots of them!

Since it's so many pies I'm ordering, I'll send the jet to get them and pick you all up to bring to my place! It's going to be a great day! And remember to wear your uniform, err outfit too!

Signed Maui the Magnificent, Loving Tuna Tuesday

hey guys .. Awww, I love hearing stories of how well bug and lola play together .. and I must echo the same thought, glad they live there!

I can't believe you are excited for 80 degree days! Give me high 60's and low 70's any day and I'm a happy camper .. too bad we've been stuck in hotville with no signs of getting out any time soon .. this 90+ degree and high humidity is for the birds! And even they are complaining these days!

Tonight my cookie bouquet I made goes into a silent auction to benefit our local pregnancy center .. I sure hope they do well, as only a select few people in the area were asked to participate in the baked goods part .. nailbite_smile I don't want to disappoint!

Morning Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on Lola and Bug - they are pure joy, and such fun. I love it all! LOL ion the excitement over 80 degrees. We are a weird lot here...   Normal for us is clouds, some afternoon clearing ad we are lucky to make 70, not to mention the constant threat of rains. So.... when we get 80 we are elated!   I do agree with you on the 90's. That is way too warm for me, and dread the few days when we do get those temps. We all melt here.  I saw your cookies on FB - omg (!!) they are wonderful. You are so talented in the baking dept. wonderful creations! I hope the auction goes well.

Maui!!! It's me, Lil BIT. well duh..... YUPP! Theme days I guess,. They likes them, and well... they are real big on tuna with lots of nip. OK on your order! What a cool idea - a big pizza party. it will be nice to be able to get together and say good bye to Smokey... we need to help her bean too! Hey - what is up with your bean? WHY do they persist on kissing us ona spot where we can't reach. my bean does that too. sheshhhh... silly beans! I will text Ollie, make sure he bring those head sponges. we will fix you right up! Cool on the jet! can i fly it, please??? Se ya ina few ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista, so wanting to fly the plane....

Morning Michelle, ~O) ~O) I also love stores of Lola and Bug. It sounds like they put on quite a show for Erin and William. It is so cool they have each other to play with, and Elsa can just shrug or be entertained by them. Sweet on the nanners belonging to Elsa. Those are adorable pics of William and love Nicholas's daisy patch Sounds like a nice walk at Meadowdale and nice to do things in the morning.
Elsa, thank you for my coffee and Espresso. I think I will also take one of the Venti Quad Orange Mocha drinks, too. It sounds so good. That pizza the kits are making is really good. If it's the same one Mags had before, i had a taste and yum.
Have a great day, Michelle, and hope it's not too hot for a walk afterwards. Enjoy coffee time in Seattle.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Hey thanks - they are such characters! Always some store to tell with them in the house. yes they did wit that show. it was funny - non stop for the longest time! I think so too on Elsa and those nanners. it is fitting. THX on the pics! yesterday was a good one. Meadowdale is such a nice backup plan, great in its own right. THX on today. I will be good. I'm thinking of heading into Seattle early, take in the pike place market. it's a farmers market, located on the seal side of the city. Such a fun place, lots of local vendors. and the fish market! primo stuff!
auntie Ann! you is so welcomes! I can do that! mocha for you! and some for your neighbors? I best plan on that, I suspect they will intercept my delivery to you if I don't. They like them mochas! I will tell Lola and Bug that their pizza meets with approval. They will send done for Mags!~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hey Lil Bit,

Do you have your pilot's license to fly my plane? :-D Well no worries if you don't. I don't have one either and I love flying my plane really fast. So, you can fly it too!

And please make my bean stop. She just smooched Buster all over her head and back and then she tried to squeeze her too. Silly bean she thinks Buster is an orange and needs squeezing! And silly Buster lets her do it too!

Let me know when the pies are ready and I'll make sure the plane arrives quick, quick!

Signed Maui the Magnificent, so happy someone else is getting squozed now

Hi Michelle,

Sounds like you will have a wonderful day today :-D
Add me to the list of folks who are very glad Lola and Bug found their way to your house!
Thanks for the well wishes for my Cleo cat_pet_icon

Jane

Hi all! Will be setting up a condo this week for Willie and have posted on FB but wanted to get it in here too....after 31 months since diagnosis, Willie is on cycle 6 of his first OTJ trial! We're doing great, though in the middle of my boyfriend Scott moving in with us, so things are even more hectic than normal.

Asking for fingers and paws to be crossed! Lengthier update to follow!!

ooohhhh a busy loose lips! how fun!

michelle - i love hearing your kitter adventures! is your 80 still going today? it's 70ish outside and overcast for us, just a few miles south. ok, 200 miles, but we usually have the same weather. it's been trying to drip outside all day and it feels steamier than 70. i put down all the umbrellas on our deck (shade for my fuschias and the house since we face west) and am letting nature take care of the flowers.

we're painting our biggest basement bedroom in prep for company coming in august. got rid of the daughter's crazy purple-blue walls with a couple coats of KILZ before going to the real paint - a light yellowish-tan color with snow white trim. what a change! the room's looking so much better. next is installing the trim, which we never got a round to when we finished the room for the daughter some 14 years ago.

we're sure missing punkin around here, but i don't think DH wants to get another cat yet. i can't decide if anya would like a companion or if she'd be Miss Territorial and harass another cat. when my daughter's cat comes it takes more than a week before she stops stalking and chasing poor jackson.

anyway, good to see everyone. i miss the good beans!

It sounds like Lola and Bug are happy they found your place too. That's so cool they know the nanners belong to Elsa. I hope you had a good day in Seattle.

Good move, Elsa, on nixing the tuna mocha concoction  !!! You are one smart kitty with a strong business sense  !!

How cool that the "kids" leave the nanners for Elsa....what wonderful display of respect. I love how Bug moves all his toys into the kitchen. I guess that way he can keep a close eye on them while they're whipping up all those pizzas!

Have a great evening, Michelle!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday evening. I did make it into Seattle today. I decided to leave early, before meeting my friend, and play tourist for a couple of hours. I Just decided what the heck, why not! omg - i think every tourist in Seattle was at the market. BUSY! It was fun, just played tourist for a few hours. I had to visit the fish market, watch them put on the show that they do. I was just a spectator today, didn't toss or catch any fish.  It was fun to watch though. The tossing guy was teaching a kid how to catch them, and then sent him back behind the fish counter to do just that. It was fun - he did catch it, and a chorus of cheers from all the spectators. it so made that kids day. Had a good time, even with it being as busy as it was. All kids of folks there, from the weirdo's to the ultra conservatives. Nice day to be out, even when the clouds started moving in. : ) We are due for some rain and thunderstorms tonight. - YAY! FUN! I will post the Picassa link to the market photos in tomorrow's Loose Lips.

Hi Jane - :-D THX, I did! it was fun to play tourist, visit the city. Sure was busy! Many thanks too on Lola and Bug. They have been such a wonderful addition here. Paws crossed for Cleo! I so want to see her name i=on the list of OTJ kitties!

Hi Christie!!! :-D Thanks for the visit. it is so great to hear from you, And WOW on Willie!!!! I am so excited for you. That is just so cool. I so remember your first days here in LL - you have done such a wonderful job with Willie. Good luck with all the move stuff, I know how hectic it can be to add someone to the household. Good luck with everything!

Hi Julie!!! :-D WOW - today is my lucky day - first Christie and now you! it is so great to hear from you!! I am sorry about Punkin, so know what you have gone through. I will miss him. I am glad we didn;t wait on taking in some new ones - we were worried how Elsa wold take to it all, but from day one we had very little issues. It has been such an easy integration. We got lucky! THX on the kitty adventures - they are so much fun! we have had great weather too, a little cloudy today, some brief sowers moving through, then back to the sunshine. It has been an awesome summer! SUN!! I have to alugh over the purple room.   My DD had one to: the loveliest shade of dark lavender. I can 't remember how many coats of paint it took to cover that up.  it is so nice to hear from you, and Christie. I miss the oldtimers too!

Hi Carla :-D THX, I so hope they are. They seem so at peace here. I thought so too on the nanners - kinda blown away by them leaving them for her. Very nice I think. THX on Seattle, it was fun.

Hi Amy :-D LOL on that tuna mocha... I can't even imagine what that would taste like. :o I thought so too on those nanners. uncanny how they knew, but I do like the respect that they show Elsa, on alot of levels. I thought so on the toys in the kitchen. I think he likes the way they sound and play on the tile floor. or! Could be on the pizzas!!! :-D
Auntie Amy - THX! no way was I making THAT! UGH!!! Thank you. I try to be a good business person, but sometimes... i dunno! Sure is fun though ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

As it should be, Mannie says so! :YMHUG:
