Yesterday's birthday condo

Thanks again everyone for all the birthday wishes for Emma. She had a great day, and was extra happy this morning, purring next to my face in an attempt to get me up at 4 this morning. Maybe she just wanted to tell me how great her birthday was...I'm sure it had nothing to do with food ;-)

This morning she's at 243 for her AMPS. She's enjoying her breakfast and is about to get her shot. It's been tough for me to get home during the day lately, as they've changed some parking areas around my office so it's nearly impossible to park when I come back. So probably no mid-cycle monitoring for me til the weekends now, unless something changes.

just grab mid-cycle spot checks whenever you can. beans must work for food and strips! :-D

So, tonight we're at 317 for her PMPS reading. I'll be around for the evening, and am hoping to see some blues!

I also added a link to some photos in my signature for anyone who might like a dose of cuteness after so much sadness on the board today. It's not all kitties, but it's some cute ones of my crazy girls.

I hear you...I haven't been around long enough to know all the kitties that have GA this week, but it's heartbreaking. All the memories of losing my Tess come rushing back, and I feel for everyone. It's so hard!

Thanks for posting the pictures. Emma is beautiful and a beautiful blue number today too. Happy belated birthday from Tess and I too. Oh, and you had a Tess. That's cool.

And thanks Ann. Yes I had a Tess too! She was a boxer, and she was Emma's very best friend. They grew up together, and used to love to run and chase each other up and down the stairs, and all around the house. Emma tolerates the dogs now - who both adore her - but she doesn't love them the way she loved Tess. She would purr, and walk under her, and rub up against her legs. It was really cute.
