Yesterday's visit to the green lagoon

Oh my, we are very late getting Zener's condo up today. Things sure looked like bounce city considering his green lagoon visit yesterday morning, so we slacked off on the testing. About +10 we decided to see what was up and holy moly, there he was.... Mr Greenie! :mrgreen: Appy has been okay today, mobility not so good, napping skills excellent. Will see what's up here shortly for PMPS.

It was one of "those" days for the beans - night duty bean had a leak under her jeep, so it's at the service place and may be there for a week. Ugh. Then our internet quit working and was out all afternoon. MamaLizBean talks the same language as the technician and we have internet back. It seems our new Apple AirPort Time Capsule doesn't play well with others. Tomorrow we are getting the internet service provider technician out to install a new wireless router, so we hope that gets us working smooth like buttah again.

Hope everyone has had a calm and drama free Wednesday, we should be able to catch up tonight now that we are back online.

Sending more vines for appy and mobility. Ugh on the Jeep and the internet. We have been down to one car for a while and it takes some getting used to.

Hi Liz & Anne, Bummer on your car, Anne. I hope it gets fixed ASAP. I think the network problem is with your wireless router. Our Airport Extreme was working great with our old internet modem, but when we upgraded to a new internet wireless router the Airport home network would not work with it. I got so frustrated that I sent it back and reconnected the old modem to the Airport. It was a ime-consuming day!

Nice slide into the lagoon for Z!!! I hope the jeep and interwebs are fixed up and OK now. Modern technology is necessary, but such a hassle. Sending good mobility vines to Zener tonight!!

Well well.... a statement indeed! :shock: :mrgreen: :roll:

We went ahead and gave meds and a bit of food since he was below 50, then waited 45 minutes and tested again. Since the numbers were on the zoom, he got his shot. So, we had a 30 minute stall of sorts. Dose shaved. {{{anti-jinx}}}

We have been slowly shaving his dose when he goes below 50 or we are having to work hard to keep him in safe numbers, even though he is a long-term diabetic, because his appy has been unstable lately. Mr Z doesn't care one bit and the shaves have been holding {{{double anti-jinx}}}}.

@Ella - thanks for the info on your airport and wireless router issues. We had the new airport time capsule in place for about two months and all of sudden today - no more connection. We got it because we could back up all our devices on it. So we are getting a new wireless router from our internet provider tomorrow and we will try one more time with the time capsule. If no go, then we will stay with our trusty little airport express, and send back the big one! So right, a time consuming process!

@Wendy - we talk about going down to one car since I retired, so we shall see how we like our week (or longer) with one car!

@Amy&TrixieCat - good grief, he could have been sliding all day and we sure didn't catch it. The interweb is working for now, more to come tomorrow. And poor NellieBelle (my jeep) is spending the night at the car vetty, and likely a week! The good news, it will cost less than my dental work, but then some cars cost less than my dental work. :lol:

I hope Zener surfs safely tonight. I hope you get your jeep back quickly and the new wireless modem works out.

Whoa Z-man! Give the beans a little notice!

I hope the technician convinces the moden to play nice. You may want to keep the Airport even if it won't work w/ the router. I learned the hard way that having the backup is a good idea.
