Ok. That's better. Hopefully we'll get to see some blue or even green today. Yellow really isn't her colour and pink well that's just too high and she gets kind of crabby.

WCR- She ate a good breakfast and now is taking her morning nap. Hopefully the lawn will dry out a bit and the kitties can go out and play for awhile when I get up. Tomorrow is chemo day so chances are she won't feel too perky for a couple of days after.

I had a rotten night at work. One of my coworkers really lit into me for no reason. She was mad because I like to check all the patients myself on initial rounds. SHe said I was treating her like s--t and didn't trust her. What the heck. I'm in charge and that's part of my job. Trust in her has nothing to do with it. Oh well. Anyway I'm just going to pop in and check a few condos and get some sleep.

Well, that is a very low yellow anyway...hope Tori did well today. Good luck tomorrow with the chemo...will be thinking of you guys. Your Friday outing. >sigh? She is such a trooper though...what a good girl!
And as far as last night....that was a pretty awful way to start the night. Some people are just overly sensitive and that makes them react like idiots. Hope you can get past that and not give it another minutes's thought. Keep doing what YOU want to do!!! Do your job the way you want to and if that person cannot understand, well, forget about her! :YMHUG:

Hi Tori, Good number this morning. Stu wants to wish you a good chemo session tomorrow (as do I) with no crumby side effects. He's out now picking good-chemo vines to make into a bouquet. Keep up the good work, gal!

Barb, Too bad about your co-worker's attitude. Just let it go. It doesn't help to let people like that get to you! Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. Good luck tomorrow with the chemo.

I'm glad Tori is doing well. As for the co-worker, chances are it had nothing to do with you. Hopefully, your co-worker will remember she's an adult and will apologize.

We saw green today and it doesn't look like she's going to bounce or if she does it'll be overnight. It probably wouldn't be that bad a thing if she is a bit higher tomorrow morning. For sure I'm going to take a can of FF with me to the vets tomorrow and remind them in no uncertain terms that she needs to eat while there. I don't want her coming home again with a BG less than 50.

WCR- To be honest I haven't seen that much of her today. I slept really well and barely got my butt out of bed to feed and test at +6. She was purry and cuddly after I got up and she's eating well so everything's good. I felt a bit bad that I didn't get her outside today. The grass was still damp though so it's probably better she stayed in.

Well it's off to the vet for round 4 of chemo tomorrow after I get home from work and she has her breakfast. So wish us luck. Doug did say he was going to get in touch with the oncologist in Calgary this week to tell her how Tori's doing and see if she has any suggestions for her care. He's not sure how long it usually takes for kitties with this type of lymphoma to respond to treatment. I think he's concerned that you can still feel the lumps in her neck. Mind you so am I. One day at a time right? All i know is if I didn't know she had cancer and didn't see how she's got poodle cut front legs and an adorable naked tummy I really wouldn't think she was sick.
