@Chris & China (GA) I was looking at some information about China and it looks like she had diabetes for four years before remission. Were you constantly going up and down in doses? What do you think it was that finally got her in to remission after that length of time? I did not see any other medical conditions that she was dealing with. Very pretty kitty.

Hi Summer. Watch out for that FB site. Anyone comments and I have seen some crazy advice on there. I am not saying all bad, but just commenting that I have seen some really wrong “advice.” Fortunately, I think that you are experienced enough to know better…. having been on this board for a good amount of time.

That is for sure. I have mainly been using it to find what other's are feeding, that sort of thing. Also, encouraging those not home testing n such. The mod is pretty good.

I agree. The moderator is good. Some of our well-known members comment on there and they give good advice. I have seen people actually tell other newbies on there that home testing is really just optional and not that important to do if you have a cat that you find difficult to test. I almost had an argument once with someone over it. This person said the most important thing was to give insulin and don’t worry about home testing. I finally quit commenting. I don’t have time anyway.

I do, Suzanne. I take everyone's comments with a "grain of salt" on Facebook. If I really want to know something I will ask for the information on this board. Thanks for looking out for me.

Looks like Susie is "double dipping" again this afternoon. It has gotten to the point where I have to test every two or so hours to make sure she isn't coming down after her original nadir. We are okay today as she is still in blues. Hope it doesn't change tonight.

Nice greens yesterday. I hope Susie surfs safely tonight. You may want to get a +2. If it is the same or lower, you could have an active night.
Yes, I just got a 106 at +2. Fed her her regular .75 oz of l/c and added 1 Tbls of m/c to that. Don't want an active night but of course will check her around 11:00 or 12:00. Super hard to sleep when I am worried. I guess the .25 increase has really made a difference. Thanks, Carla.
