Good Morning Everyone,
A bunch of kitties enjoyed surfing on their rainbow boards last night! Stu is taking it easy this morning. All Ps are in order, 3 installments of breakfast have been eaten, and we've made a circle of the house. Warm and muggy here today and Stu is just lazing around, but he seems to be fine, and at least he's not pink.
I'm going to go out for a bike ride this morning, before it gets too hot. Then some grocery shopping ("senior discount day" at the local health-food store) and cleaning to get ready for the arrival of my sister this weekend. We will all be attending a week of paddling with the Adirondack Mt. Club's annual Paddle Outing from Mon.-Sat. next week (our "vacation" here in "vacation land"). It is held at Paul Smiths College on Lower St. Regis Lake. We've been doing this for about 8 years now and it is great fun: we stay in a lakeside dorm, get all meals (including a bag lunch), do paddles every day (leaders, like us, propose paddles and participants sign up; usually there are 8 or 9 different trips going out each day). Many of the same people come back year after year, so it's like "old home" week. Of course DH and I can't stay ovenight in our dorm room because of our Dear Stu, but we'll eat all our meals there. So Stu will be on his own for 12 hours each day (from AMPS to PMPS) and hopefully will eat from his automat and not do anything drastic with his bg numbers!! He tends to "save" his food when we are out, but I hope he'll be hungry enough not to save too much! I'll report on the Paddle Outing as it goes along.
Out now for a ride. Back later to visit condos.
Everyone have a good day, and vines and snowflakes are on their way to the kitties who are not feeling well,
