Morning ~O) sunny yellow today. Good news for Mags. :-D Yesterday at 2pm Mags had a very nicely formed poo deposit. In hindsight I should have taken a picture as it's been so long since she's had a poo with form, not too soft, just perfect. This is the first bm since her enema on July 9. Thanks everyone for all the poo vines and prayers, as they really helped. Detective Poo will be proud. I think the changes this Vet made are really helping. Her bottom is still sensitive, and it's so hard to tell if her appy is related to having pain this morning. I'll pick up the Tramadol Transdermal gel today.

Maggie's appy is iffy today though. I'm doing what Liz does with Zener in bowl chasing. Mags will eat Gerber bf and the Purina NF dry kidney function food. I did give her another another dose of the Mirtz last evening as it had been 48 hours. It will take me some time to get a handle on her numbers and dose, as wr've changed her food to the lowest possible phosphorus food to try and get her renal levels down. I do understand about the food, but for her situation it's worth a try.

I'm having computer problems, so if I disappear, it will be computer woes. Yesterday Windows shut down twice on me. I'm typing, but nothing is showing up in black & white until a few minutes later. I was on FB visiting my niece, and something goes awry every time i visit FB for some reason.

Healing vines for kitties and beans needing them.

Hi, Ann, I hope Maggie's appy improves.
I also hope your computer works out its kinks ~ computer issues = no fun (high on the "no fun list," along with car problems :roll: ).

I wasn't expecting this drop, but she has been picky this morning with the food. The FF T&G went over well though!

Thanks for the cheers for the poo! :-D :-D It was so good to see such a nice deposit in the LB. Most of the pee has been in the box, too. Thank goodness for Walgreens doggy pee pads.

The appy vines are on the way. Yes, you are right...you can always adjust the insulin to match Maggie's fuds needs. ECID, and you have to do what you have to do. You are an amazing bean, juggling all her different needs.

Good PC vines, too! I was having all sorts of trouble with the laptop at work yesterday. Yep, computers are just like cars...another necessary evil.

WOW on that +3, even if it is related to the fuds, or lack of. It is nice to see that the FF T&G was well received. Eat up Maggie! I sure do like your green 'kini today. :cool: I agree too on the fuds: feed what she needs and will eat. The insulin can always be adjusted. Weer you able to get a phosphorus binder added to the mix?

They saved many a day for us! :-D Hooray for the vet - seems she has a good handle on what Maggie needs. Amazing job for both of you. :cool:

Oh, looks like Mags decided to stay a while in the Green Lagoon. Normally she's up and away at this time. It's supposed to be a hot one today, so I may try to get an early start on some errands. I need to round up some FAX some claims to VPI, too.

Amy, thanks so much for the appy vines and cheerleaders for the happy poo! :-D It sure has been a long time waiting. Thanks on Mags and the juggling. I find I need to write everything down now and the time to make sure i don't forget something.
There's no problem with her appy when I offer a little FF T&G. I think I'll look for some freeze dried treats to place on her lower phosphorus today.

Detective Poo, thanks for the cheers and appy vines. :-D Liz, I know you and Anne go thru that a lot with Zener on the appy. Wow on the 4 breffifs spots. I need to check on Zener.

Michelle, thank you for the poo cheer dancers. :-D Yes, juice can always be adjusted. I did get a binder called "Renagel" that the Vet thinks best for Mags. I had a time crushing it, as it's a tablet. Bummer though, she didn't want to eat the fuds with the binder mixed in it. It must have a taste to it. I'll have to try a smidgeon myself and see what's what! I think I waited too long for a walk. It's already getting warm and muggy.

Hi Mary, thank you for all the 10's for Mags. :-D She came over and read her condo and now getting her green kini on, too. :mrgreen:

I hope this is the new meds schedule taking over! :-D :-D I'd try a couple of more times w/ the binder, sometimes it's just coincidence and they didn't want to eat for other reasons. It is supposed to be floavoless i though!

Nice green and yay for poo! I have been thinking about you. Glad she is doing ok and the med switch is working. Oh boy on the computer issues. That drives me crazy. Have a great day Ann!

ETA Mags had a prezzie deposit today. It was just one prezzie but formed and not runny. :-D

We're back up to yellow, but at least Mags's Nadir numbers are in the green. I was out and about doing Bean food shopping and then UPS store to FAX some claims to VPI for reimbursement. I got home and the Vet's office called and Maggie's medicine was ready, so made a trip there. It's about 80 degrees here but feels much warmer.

Hi Melissa, thanks on the green and poo. I know with the puter! Last time this happened with Windows, I had to get a new part for it. I could have bought a ne Laptop for what the Technician charged me.

Ann & Tess, thanks for dancer poo! :lol: Yes, this is the new meds change kicking in. Yes, trying the binder again. I think it was her appy just being off again.
 
Oh my goodness Ann, how do you keep up with all this?
I get confused, just trying to deep up with all the foods I've tried, and were rejected. But then, cats like something one day, and will never eat it again.
Checks loved the Paw Lickin chicken, the first time, so I ordered a case, and wasted half dozen trying to get someone to eat it. None of mine liked the solid, just the juice. I even mushed it, in the food processor.
Checks doesn't love anything!

I have to start search again for low phos....gonna use Ann's (Tess) list. I just found out that FF is loaded with phos!

I'm glad to see Miss Mags stayed longer at the lagoon today. :mrgreen:

And YAY, for poo! :lol:

Woohoo on Maggie's perfectly formed poo!! And her good appy (at least for FF T&G) :lol: :lol: Why can't FF be low phos?? Would make a lot of bean's lifes much easier! I also have binder, but haven't tried it yet. Cleo goes on the 24th to have phosphorus tested again - I guess I want to feel like I still have one trick left up my sleeve in case her numbers are higher. I am hoping for a drop since we are suffering through the LC/low phos food!!

Appy/ poopy vines continue for Maggie!!
