I really like Simon's AMPS this morning, especially since his last test of Thursday evening was also 121. Simon does hate getting the ear drops every morning -- he is such a big baby! But he gets rewarded with pill pockets which he loves so it can't be that bad. On the other hand, Cleo, who is also getting the ear drops, sits so quietly while I administer the drops. What a lady!

I am supposed to bring Cleo to the vet this afternoon to get her first fluids and to show me how to do them. Unfortunately, all the staff at work that stays late is not going to be in today or has to leave early. That means I will have to work until 6:00 PM which is too late to bring Cleo. I'm calling them this AM to see if the vet can fit me in tomorrow.

Thanks again to Marge, Claudia, and Karrie for all your help with this whole CRF thing.

You know males, all big babies when it comes to being sick or taking meds :lol:

Good luck getting into the vet tomorrow and with the fluids. Keep us informed.

Great start for Simon today!! He is looking great, ear drops & all.

Of course, the lady sits nicely. I think the guys just like to test us. Hope you can get Cleo in to the vet tomorrow! Have a wonderful day Georgia!

A little higher for Simon this evening, but maybe it is the full moon and not the steroid ear drops.

I am bringing Cleo in to the vet in the AM to learn how to do her fluids. She is feeling better today and tonight. I think the Pepcid is making her tummy feel better. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers.
 
Hi guys - I am glad that you were able to reschedule Cleo's appt. I hope it goes well. it has been such along time since I have had to do fluids, but as I remember it goes OK, and I bet you will be fine. She will feel so much better too!

It's good to see that Simon hasn't had any really high BG numbers while on the drops - I know you were worried. Mid blues seems to be OK.
