I did not give her insulin - calling this a Tentative OTJ Trial #9. If she is high at PM, I can always give it then.

4 P's in place for Cleo this am. She has been a little more rubby, affectionate these past few days :-D That should change when I clip her nails tonight - :lol: Maybe not, sometimes she tolerates it better than others.

Good appy - the fish oil does not seem to bother her tastebuds. I have to be careful in adding water to her food. If I add just a bit too much, she walks away from it. I then add more food to make it just the right consistency.....this porridge is just right!

Happy miserable Monday :-D Back to tbp.

I hope Cleo has a lower PMPS. Her normal numbers may be the high greens and low blues, but I understand you want the best chance for her to stay OTJ. You know her best and she may need to be on insulin a little longer.

That's so funny on her food has to be just right with the water added. :lol:

I've got all fingers and paws crossed for Cleo's trial. I hope her little pancreas does just fine without insulin.
She's cute that there's just the right consistency for her food. I can just hear her...nope, not right. try again mom

Morning Jane, just a thought. I thought I read somewhere that you were feeding Paw Lickins Chicken. Although it's low in carbs, it has a tendency to raise Maggie's bg readings. And I also think it does with Trixie of Amy. Just a thought. It's so close; we have paws and fingers crossed for you and Cleo. You can do it Cleo.

Paws crossed that the trial works, but we all understand how nerve wracking this higher range is.

BTW some Avatars seem to have been the casualties of Board repairs. Yours seem to be one, you may need to re upload it. Check over in the Tech Forum.

I am so grateful for how good Cleo feels. But a green number would be just lovely!!

@Ann - I am unable to find a store in my area that sells Weruva food, so we havn't had a chance to try the Paw Licken chicken. I will have to do a search, cause they had quite a few that were low carb & phos.
