7/13 Condo
Work once again got in the way of my fun so I didn't have time for a condo yesterday. Champ had a really great day and has been just like his normal Champy self!!
His wobbly legs have improved a great deal on the Xobaline and the facial tremors are completely gone. I do notice that if he is sitting or standing and shakes his head (like he has an itch or something), he will lose his balance and he does have noticeable muscle wasting at his ankles. I think it's time for a vet visit soon just to make sure this is neuropathy and not something more serious or something that can be easily "fixed."
Today Champ woke me up with lots of crying at 5 a.m., but I was so tired I ignored him until 5:30. I got up and gave him some chicken breast and went back to bed, though not to sleep because he kept crying for more food. That's when I realized I had gone to bed without putting any food out for him!! Poor duders!! I had cooked up some coconut shrimp last night (baked, not fried, Weight Watcher's recipe!) so I got two pieces out and rinse the coconut off and gave those to him. I didn't have anything else in the house defrosted that is a carb free treat and I didn't want to influence his AMPS. I should have checked his BG at 5:30 because I just bet it was low. This AMPS of 86 is the lowest I've ever shot, but I'll be here all day and I'll be sure to check his +1 and +2. I think I'll shave his dose down to askinny (oops) fat 3u tonight since he's had a good run of blues and greens for a few days.
Well, another busy day today so I gots to get to work. I'll be visiting condos around 11 a.m. Pacific time!!
Everyone have a fantastic Friday!!!
