Sorry I have been a bit MIA for the past 36 hours. One of the ferals I help care for at my old job has been injured, I discovered this Sat am and am trying to work with a TNR group to get him trapped and get him to my vet. I am very nervous about trying to trap him, so please keep me in your prayers - up at 4:15 this mronign with an aching back and couldn't go back to sleep thinking about Sydney....

On the flip side, I think Cedric knows I am anxious, as he slept with me Saturday night and part of last night. His number this am is better than yesterday's (229 amps, 259 pmps).

If the feral is a reliable eater, maybe get a smidge of cat tranquilizer from the vet to slow him down.

The best thing to use when trapping ferals is cat nip. Believe me it works, I always got the intended cat, even injured. Just put a bit of food down sprinkle cat nip on, and then sprinkle right up the middle of he trap on the ground. Put a bit in front of the trap as well. The best traps are the Tru Catch, they don`t snap shut and scare the cat half to death.
Good luck and keep us updated.

Got the trap from the TNR group. She showed me how to use it and I have it for a week. Keep your fingers crossed that I can get him in the am and wisk him away to my vet. Got the lose catnip and hope it helps me.
