Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had an active night hunting mouse. But he didn't find one. He's hungry and raring to go this morning. I don't think it was a fur shot last night, or perhaps only a partial one. Today we start over re-filling the shed. I can't believe I've given at least 3 fur shots since we've been at Camp. We only got here on Saturday!! Of course, we still have the trip home today and that will undoubtedly keep Rusty in yellow. It's another beautiful summer day, starting out at 50 degrees. The full moon tonight should be spectacular, if last night's almost-full moon is an indication. The kitties should have a great party.

We'll leave for home in 2 hours or so (to give Rusty time to digest his breakfast) and I'll be back in the late afternoon (after returning from taking Edward to the chiropractor). Everyone have a good day.

Calling all Kitties: Big Full- Moon party tonight at Camp Stu. The swimming in the moonbeams will be great. Moon songs on the dock (led by Moonie, of course, and all welcome to join the Kitty Chorus), delicious food. Venison will be featured. Chef Mannie has some delicious dishes ready to go, including venison sausages and venison chili; raspberries are ripe and some of the kitties spent yesterday picking them so that Pastry Chef Tess will be able to make one of her wonderful desserts. I've got the grill ready and am looking forward to grillin' up those sausages. See you all later. Mannie will pick you up in the bus.

Morning!! have a safe trip home guys. I hope Rusty does too - no car pukus! Well, bummer on the fur shots, but he will come down, right Rusty? Sounds like he feels great, so all is well. And that yellow sure has a string blue cast to it....

I can only imagine how beautiful the full moon is over the lake - what a great image. :-D :cool:

Rusty - we are all set!! Bus is ready! I gots everything packed this morning, lot of snacks and drinks and stuff. We is ready to roll! Menu is yum, I think!! So yep, best get that grill ready... we gots lots of fuds to cook. SWEET! See you soon! ~~Mannie

Well, that looks bluish to me Rusty! Fill that shed back up...it will be new and shiny when you are finished and you will be back into the good numbers again, right? Nothing like a brand new shed, right?

Time for Rusty to get home, settle down, and get back to Rusty numbers. Maybe it's just the stress of the entire trip and being away from familiar surroundings? Sorry he didn't get the mouse.

I hope you've had a wonderful time....I've enjoyed reading your adventures. The weather sounds so nice and crisp. Have a safe trip home.

FULL MOON PARTY at Camp Stu!!!! I have made my very special Pomegranate Niptinis for this occasion to have with our venison and all the raspberries Tess has picked.....if there are any left..ahem Mannie!!

Hope you had a good trip home! I am in the fur shot club. DH shaved part of Tarragon's back for me last night so I won't miss it again since T had such a bad reaction last night. Blech.

Hi again, everyone,
The afternoon got away from me with chores, DH's trip to the chiropractor, grocery shopping, etc. But I wanted to report that Rusty had a good trip home and didn't get carsick! He used his travel lb impeccably (as usual) and we were home in time for the mid-cycle shot (which was predictably higher owing to the trip). He has since settled down to re-filling his shed. Tonight's shot was a good one (I hope!!). It would be nice to see some lower blues tomorrow. Rusty spent some time outdoors this afternoon, just lounging in the sun and shade. He also lounged in his cube (is there now) and played a game with the Cat Charmer. I think he's happy to be home. But I also think he liked camp a lot better this time because the weather was good and there was the mouse to keep him occupied!

Don't know how many condos I'll get to tonight, so forgive me if I miss some. Happy Full Buck Moon to all beans (don't you wish you were having Chef Mannie's menu?)

Hey Beans! Camp Stu is all prepared for the big Full Buck Moon. We have kitty lounge chairs set out on the dock for moon viewing. We have the grill set up on the porch. We have the lawn mowed and blankets spread for the picnic. It's gonna be a wonderful party. The skies are clear and the moon should be up in an hour or so. The Kitty Chorus is rehearsing under Moonie's baton. Some of the kitties are swimming and canoeing. Swimming in the moonbeams later is going to be fantastic. Don't expect your kitties home until late! Don't worry about them. We have a splendid menu created by Chef Mannie and Gracie's pomegranite/raspberry niptinis are already flowing. Tess and her pastry crew are still gathering raspberries for the dessert. Later we will drink a toast to all of our GAs, and we're pretty sure that they are all partying too. This is Camp Stu, after all, and Chef Stu never missed a party. Happy Full Buck Moon to everyone!

Ohhhhhhhhh Rusty, swimming in the moonbeams is wonderful. And I know the GSa are here Ican feel them, almost see them too. What a beautiful night! -- Tess
