Hi Everyone,
Rusty seems to have bounced. I thought that the nice, slow descent yesterday would signal that the new cartridge of Lev. was restoring Rusty's shallow curves, but that doesn't seem to have happened. So we'll see what happens today. I may have to fatten the dose by a drop again. In any event, Rusty had a good night. He ate all of his nighttime food (getting rid of that small hairball yesterday has spiked his appetite), and slept with his head on his little green pillow. This morning we had a good shot, breakfast (first sitting), a brief schmooze, and now we are watching the Tour.

The beans had to cancel the paddle we were supposed to lead tomorrow: 80% chance of thunderstorms all day. Not good for being out on a large lake! So we are staying home this week and getting ready for Canoe Outing, which begins next Monday.

Wishing all a fine day,

Ella & Rusty

No bouncing Rusty! I hope he slides down nice and easy for you. Sounds like a good night for the big guy. Those pesky hairballs. Glad his appetite is better.

Good idea on canceling the paddle. Thunderstorms would not be a good combination. Maybe just enjoy some inside time. I love summer storms and we are suppose to get some mid week. Wish I didn't have to be at tbp during them.

Charlie is much better. Thank you for asking! He just finished up his ABs and his tummy looks much better. No more heavy panting either so that must have been it. No running outside in this heat for me. It's all treadmill for the next couple of months.

Have a great day Ella!!

Bummer about the bounce, but if I know Rusty, he'll be back in the lagoon in no time!

Too bad you had to cancel the paddle. The weather this week does seem to have moved into an "unstable" cycle....definitely better safe than sorry. Have a great day, Ella!

I hope Rusty keeps sliding down. Sorry you had to cancel your paddle, but that sounds like nasty weather to be out in.

Well, Rusty is sliding again nicely today. Maybe the shed jsut needs a little longer to rebuild. Take it easy this week. lots of time to schmooze w/ Rusty.

Hi again,
We went out on a short paddle this afternoon while Rusty was taking his "down time". We wanted to scout out the fallen tree in the narrow channel on one of the paddles we plan to lead at Canoe Outing next week. It was still there, but we were able to paddle around it and through some of the branches. So Rusty didn't get his "close to" nadir test. We'll see how he does tonight. Right now he's sitting on the couch with me, waiting for the Tour. He's already eaten most of his dinner.

Off to visit some condos,

Ella & Rusty

OK Rusty, keep on sliding. Neko's barely in the lagoon and is going to need reinforcements.

I'm glad you got out on a paddle today. We had a thunderstorm warning this morning but fortunately it didn't pan out. You definitely don't want to be on the water with them around!

I always love the ending of Le Tour mountain climbs - today did not disappoint.

Hi Ella ~O)

It is a nice recovery for Rusty. I hoe he keeps on coming down, back to Rusty numbers.

Bummer on the paddle cancel. But I agree: Know for sure I wouldn't want to be out on a big lake with hat kind of weather... I hope you enjoyed your paddle today.

Enjoy the tour! I need to catch up with that, yet again....
