Thanks Carla, Amy, and Laura. Hoping it doesn't lead to pancreatitis. It's cleaning day to so since I stripped the bed he's under it. I hope nit to need to feed him again until we get back. That will only be 4 hours without old but hopefully enough to get labs that are sort of reliable.
Someone hit my passenger mirror and it's gone! That makes it impossible to park. It's an expensive fix I think and my service guy is on vacation until next week. I don't know if I can wait for him. Once this happened at the car wash and a repair places tried to rip me off for the whole mirror which I think was $850 but my guy said it just needed the outside cover. This time I fear the worst. How could I not have noticed until the next day? Grr.
Good question Carla. My deductible is $500 and I think it will come under the part that is covered under uninsured motorist without s rate hike but I'm not sure. First I'll see what they say once I figure out who to ask. Thanks.
I think he gets stressed at the vet. Not that much to eat and at least no drop like last time. His BP after everything was 144/103. We ran everything including fructosamine and I'll get results tomorrow. I'm surprised that he refused to eat when we got back. He should be hungry. Still not eatingand just went guess where. Yep. He's under the bed. It's too fast for pancreatitis.
Hopefully it's just basic vetty stress that will pass quickly...prayers that p-titis stays away, too. I know how that one goes all too well. Real bummer about the mirror! Cars are just big black holes for money...
So sorry about your mirror! I had a bout of gastritis in July last year and wound up at the ER. I had my new car for three months. Came out of the ER to find a POS van parked very close to my car and a ding in my fender! Really! I was so mad, but I just wanted to get home. Had been in the ER for six hours. It's still there, and I get mad every time I look at it.
Max wandered all around tells BG me loudly how upset he was. Maybe he needs vet visits to get exercise. I gave him a spoonful of Gerber and he settled down under the bed of course.
Thanks for the vines Ella, Laura, Wendy,Amy, Marilyn, and Carla. While I was out he was under the bed and just surfaced for his PMPS. He ate and is now on my bed. I guess he's done complaining for now.
Max used to be on my bed but leave when I got in it. Before that he would get on my bed for cuddles and lay on my chest with his face on mine for maybe 5 minutes. Then he was gone. He stopped that several months ago.
Come on now Max....vetty visit is over.....time to stop hiding under the bed and come out and give mama some lovin'! She only took you because she loves you so much!
Nice cycle today and considering everything, not a bad PMPS either!
will he come out for catnip? I have great luck getting shadow anywhere I want her to be ( at least for a short time) by putting catnip there.... ( have to brush it all off my sheets if I put it there)
paws crossed for good report.
