Lola and Bug are super sizing everything!  I didn't know you could make pies that BIG. They say they have the super toppings too. and super cheese. and super nip. SUPER SIZED NIP???? oh oh.... this could be bad, major bad..... Be careful LL, them pizzas are HUGE! Hmmmmm - I wonder if I should super size my ~O) , or maybe just make them super better. I thinks I will stick with super better. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Hawaiian coffee plantations: Hawaii Ka'u blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: Venti quad Irish cream infused white mocha, with hazelnut and caramel whip, garnished with caramelized nut clusters and white chocolate shavings. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of caramel and hazelnut and Irish cream swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

Yesterday was a chore day and an errand day. I did most of what had to be done in the morning, so was able to spend the afternoon on the local trails and shoreline here at home, at Meadowdale. I spent a few hours walking the trails there for a while. I also made the shore, and was able to hike down to the old pier. The tide was low enough so off I went. It was a nice time. Days here has been sunny and made about 73 yesterday. It wasn't an overly exciting day, but still an enjoyable one. I did take photos, and will include them for anyone that wants to see Meadowdale one more time. I liked the mobile uploads I took too, so will include them as well: More Meadowdale... and Even More Meadowdale

Yesterday Nicholas's dad took him, along with his grandpa to see the Thomas the Train exhibit in Snoqualmie, at the RR Museum there. I hope you guys know Thomas, and if not on a brief note: Thomas the Train is a children's animation that has won the hearts of so many young kids, all about the adventures of Thomas. They all just love Thomas. Each year the RR Museum in Snoqualmie has this exhibit, with all kinds of Thomas stuff. The tour also includes a train ride (about an hour) on a train that is all decked out to look like Thomas the Train. I will include the link to the photos that his dad took, but I'm not too sure how many of you will be able to see them, as it is FB, and not my account. If not, well I am taking him on my own next Friday, and can post my photos then. In the meantime, I hope this link will work.... A Visit with Thomas the Train

It was/is so quiet here in the house this morning. Quite the contrast to last night when the kitties were re-enacting the Fast and the Furious: running everywhere like crazy kitties, at warp speed, crashing into things, people, and each other.  Normally Elsa just does her thing, and pays them no mind. She will play some with them, but usually leaves them to their own craziness. last night however I saw her chasing with Bug. That was fun - something she doesn't always do. It was a fun night for them all. Once done they all sought out kitty scritches.

Speaking of cats.I read this post on FB yesterday about this injured kitty who received new back legs. It is so amazing what can be done for animals these days. Per the post: "A few years ago, Oscar was run over by a combine harvester and his back legs were damaged beyond repair. After some discussion, he was the recipient of a groundbreaking surgery in which prosthetic legs were grafted directly onto his ankle bones, called an "exoprosthesis." This first-of-its-kind operation allows Oscar to walk normally." I will share this post, as it is heart warming. I believe all should be able to see it, as it is a public post. Oscar's Second Chance

Have a great day everyone.I hope to hike today, up to the Mountain Loop Highway, and visit Boulder River. it is a waterfall hike, and rather pretty and the trail has been worked on, from what I read. It's been four years since I have been there, so I hope it is as nice as I remember. Paws crossed! I will wait a few, verify weather etc before heading on out . Paws crossed all is well.

Morning Michelle, sounds like a nice Saturday with time spent at Meadowdale, always a pretty place with all the greenery and shoreline. How neat with Thomas the Train. The link for the pics doesn't work for some reason. It said "Currently not available" or something.
Elsa, thanks for my 10 Hour Energy Coffee ~O) ~O) and Triple Espressos. Those Hawaiian beans are another of my favs, too. Watch ou for my neighbors so they don't trip you they're so eager to see you.
That is so neat that Elsa was chasing Bug. It sounds like they respect her as being there first. It's nice she has such nice company, even if a little crazy sometimes.
That sounds like a great hike today. Paws crossed for nice weather. Have a great time and look forward to pics.

Morning Michelle,

Thomas the Train sounds like a fun place for a toddler! Glad you will get to take Nicholas on Friday. The pictures were not available for me either. But, I look forward to yours. :-D

Enjoy your Sunday hike!

Jane

Have a great hike today, looking forward to more beautiful pix! We couldn't see the Thomas the Tank engine pix either. Do you think Jason would friend all of us so we can peek?

Great to hear that Elsa was joining in the fun last night! Or maybe it was because Bug thought her espresso tamper worked great on his nip crusts! She wanted it back! Cool on the scritches!

Elsa don't worry, a little nip in the espresso will just add an extra zing. Thanks for the early delivery, we are taking of for a while and I couldn't do it without your
triple shot espressos, with beans from Hawaiian coffee plantations! Can you come back w/ some of those yummy mochas when we get back? -- Auntie Annbean

I've heard about Oscar before. That is so neat and great that it worked.

That's great to hear Elsa was joining in on the playing last night. Have a great hike today.

Funny how that Thomas made the rounds yesterday! He is over here in NJ too! And my little pool family went and rode on Thomas and in Annie and Clarabelle! They even got tattoos and came to the pool today wearing Percy and one of the red guys (can't remember the name)!

That Thomas is one busy train!

Hey Lil Bit,

Tell those little un's to supersize me and send me over one supersize pie with everything on top! Well everything except stinky anchovy - bleck!

Signed Maui the Magnificent, ready to dive into a supersize pie!

Happy Sunday afternoon everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I have just returned from a hike to Boulder River, near Darrington. What a good one this one was. Today was a great day to be outdoors, on a hike, on a river. The sun was shining, the skies were blue, and temps were mid 70's. This is a really nice river hike, with two great waterfalls There were nice views of the river too, though it really isn't too accessible. One can get down there, but the slope is really steep... I went part way down, spent a little time. The only drawback was that by noon the place was packed with other hikers... seems WTA (Washington Trails Association) published this hike last month, and when they do, the folks come in masses. I was the only car in the small (!!) parking lot at 9 this AM, by 2PM they were lined up down the road. FUN! well, yes it was fun. I'd do this one again. I logged 9.6 miles via pedometer, 9.0 via GPS. Starting elevation was 969 feet, top was 1525, with a cumulative gain of 1130 feet. Today was supposed just to be a hike to the falls, about 5 miles RT. LOL, and oh sure.... kept thinking "well that was cool, what else is around the next bend... " haha. ended up with 9/9.6. I worked!  I had intended to only go to the waterfalls, about 2.5 miles in, but as always happens, I kept thinking, well maybe just a bit further, see some more of the river.... Silly me!    It was fun! I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's Loose Lips. Have a great evening everyone!!

MY son will be by a in a few, so once again my plans to spend the nght with condos will be thwarted. sorry guys.... gotta see the kid! ;-)

Hi Ann :-D THX, yesterday was a good one - I like that place, it is always nice down there, even when it rains! ;-) Bummer on the Thomas pics - I was afraid that would happen.
