Under about 250 is under renal threshold (it will vary from cat to cat and depending on where you read) so at least his kidney's are getting a break too

not sure what has happen in the last hour but i feed him his last pm meal @ + 4.5 and bg was +4 222, now at + 5 its 360 could this be a bounce kicking in this fast?
 
Unfortunately, yes

But since this dose has gotten him down into the blues, you'll want to hold on for at least 8-10 cycles

Bouncing...drives us all crazy!!
