He has been erratic lately with his numbers.Higher preshots but then like today surfing the 40's.we switched back to fancy feast because his numbers seemed higher on welnness.So we are experimenting with food.I would prefer to keep him on wellness but its all about the numbers.Mabe the food is just coincidence.

My Sara occasionally will pull a low # like that at +2. Thats great that your on top of it. How high were his #'s on wellness?

i like to keep variables to a minimum. as a result, my kitties are usually fed only one or two flavors of the same brand at any given time. we've gone from wellness to fancy feast to wellness to raw and then back to wellness. each time we changed, it threw off (raised) alex's numbers. it took about 2 weeks for her numbers to settle down again. brutus may be experiencing something similar...

In just two cycles back on fancy feast we are seeing low numbers again.So jill i think you are right, it must be the food change.Thanks for the input.

I have thought the same thing about Wellness.....Putty has a much bigger food spike but I do like that it keeps him fuller longer and it has better ingredients. It will be interesting to see what happens with the numbers for Brutus. I may have to try that experiment too.
