7/13 Zener PMPS 255;+3 332 mouse!

Zener is doing fine this morning. He did yard patrol and ate his breffis. He was a little restless finding a spot to nap. We even played a little tent. Then Tillie went out to the composter and caught a mouse! And brought it inside the house. :- :shock: And let it go! :shock: :-x :-x Fortunately, I think the mouse ran right back outside! :lol: :lol: Now the screen door to the patio is closed and both kitties are out there sniffing around. Tillie has lost track of it and has gone back out to the composter.

OT: I'm a little sore from my race yesterday but feeling pretty good, considering. It was 10.3 miles, starting at 7000' and climbing up to 9000' and then back down the other side of the mountain. And I won my age division! Because I was the only person in my age division. :lol: I was almost last overall, 31 of 32. I could have been first and last in the same race. :lol: Anne was sweet and got up early to take me to the start. She is sleeping in today. :-D

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Mariko's Lucy, Tricia and her civies. Paws crossed for the OTJ trial for Zack. :mrgreen: Happy Sunday, LL!

Hehehe I thought that Zener had caught the mouse, and not Tillie. Lucky for the mouse that it got away, otherwise, I'm sure that both cats would've flipped a coin for it.

Zener - you done with that pink floor yet? Time to slide on down, party's are all down a floor or two. Neko is attempting a rope toss again.

Good catch by Tillie - I do hope the mouse ran outside again and you don't have an extra "toys" in the house. :shock:

There is something about races that make me feel more tired than practicing the same or more distance. I think the adrenalin gets those muscles working just a bit harder. Time for a massage?

Now it's time for Zener to get to work and come on down to the lower floors...Pink isn't your color Z-man!

Congratulations on the race! Being first in your age group is great (even if you're the only one entered....LOL) And you did beat somebody!!

Tillis must be proud of herself. I hope the mouse did run back outside. Zener it's time to slide back down. Liz, it's great that you finished the race. I hope the soreness is gone soon.

Congrats, Liz! I did a race once when I also won my age group because I was the only one in it! But a medal is a medal! :lol:

WOO HOO! A mousie! Way to go Tillie. oh double hooray that it went back outside. :razz: In her younger days Elsa was out mouser, she'd always bring them home.... ugh, but we thanked her for the presents....

Anne, I don't like a mouse in the house. I am glad he got back outside. Tillie is quite the hunter.

I am impressed with the 10.3 miles. What kind of race was it running or biking? Congratulations!
 
Glad to see some downward movement for Zener.

Poor little mouser, I'm surprised he didn't have a heart attack.

Congrats on the race!!!! Great job!!!
