Hi Everyone,
Yesterday turned out to be quite exciting: first the 41 at AMPS+9 and then the bgs in the 50s at PMPS+4 and after. I finally went to bed last night at +5.75 when Stu had reached bg 65. This morning I shaved the fat off his dose and returned to 1.50. I used the last of my "usual" syringes and will have to use a different brand tonight (without 1/2 unit markings and with a plunger gasket that is not as flat). I hope the dose measuring won't cause problems. (For those of you who may have missed this: we are at our "camp" and I forgot to pack syringes, but fortunately there are enough here to last until we go home on Friday!)
Stu ate so much last night at bedtime that he didn't eat the +9 snack in his automat. But this morning he seems back to normal eating. Breakfast (installments 1 and 2) eaten, litterbox contributed to, some playing with a cushion tie, some face-washing. We are going to have rain and thunderstorms today, so it's a good day to stay off the water. This morning, after the +2 test, we're going to our friends' down the road for pancakes and to watch the Tour. Then a grocery-shopping trip to the nearest store (25 miles away) this afternoon. We'll be keeping a close eye on Mr. Cat today.

Sounds like a great start to the day. Maybe a little quiet after an eventful day yesterday! Enjoy the pancakes and the tour!

I hope you have a nice quiet day today. The kitties might enjoy these midnight green surfing excursions, but they are hard on their beans. ohmygod_smile

What great numbers Stu gave you yesterday. Maybe he was looking forward to the camp. Pancakes?? Sounds yummy. We did get on the river on Sunday and had a nice 2 hr float. We didn't see much wildlife, just geese, wild turkeys and an eagle. I hope you enjoy your time at camp.

Don't dive so much today, okay? Surf with everyone instead. Chair cushion ties are fun, aren't they? My bean can't have chair cushions anymore because the civie rips all the ties off. Some kitties don't know how to play without destroying and they ruin it for everyone. :YMSIGH: Anyway, have a good day at camp and keep your eye out for my pink bikini top, ok?

Hi again,

The inevitable bounce has occurred: 303 at PMPS. I'm not sure what version of 1.50 I shot this evening because the syringes don't have 1/2 unit markings and I haven't used these syringes in several months. So it was either 1.50, fat 1.50, or skinny 1.50!! Stu had a relaxing day. Not much to do here for him except to sit on the porch. The weather is getting worse by the minute and the paddle we were going to do on Thursday has been canceled, so we're going to go home tomorrow in the rain and hope for better weather next week (the Adirondack Mt. Club Annual Paddle Outing will be all next week; more about that in a post in a few days). Off now to visit condos. Hope everyone is OK.

Good luck with those syringes! - I had forgotten about those, the 1 unit marks only - and I used to use them all the time, until I found the wonders of 1/2 unit markings. You have my sympathies, and I hope you have good eyes.... :smile: Sorry too on the weather - bummer you have to cut your stay short. Drive safe, stay dry.

The Jamboree is a big country music festival held in St. Clairsville, Ohio. This is my 4th year going and it's really a lot of fun. I enjoy people watching as much as I enjoy listening to the music. Here's a link you can check out....I'm getting so excited!!! There's a lot of good artists this year...and I love Brooks and Dunn.

Yup, Still pink at early bedtime tonight (+3.5). We are all tired!! Not to worry about cutting this stay at camp short. It's only 70 miles away. And we have a lot to do to get ready for Canoe Outing next week. Stu is very hungry tonight. I thought it was because he might be dropping, but he's the same as he was at PMPS! I'll never figure this out! Ni Ni everyone.
