Last night in his test before bed, it happened again. He stayed way up in the 300's when it is usually his lowest number of the day, so the night before was not a fluke? Not sure why or what is going on, but hoping it stops soon! ohmygod_smile

Poor Simon is like a ping pong ball bouncing all over the place!! confused_cat
Have a great day!

Re: 7/13 Simon AMPS 331

Nothing different at night? Cassie (bookworm) and Simon seem to be in a similiar pattern - one nice cycle, one mediocre one. Hmmmmm. Guess just wait it out and see what happens.

No different food at night or different feeding pattern?

Re: 7/13 Simon AMPS 331

Nothing really different except he had a piece of beef from my bowl of soup (made home made beef barley soup) so the barley in the soup maybe? But, that was hours before the test and it was one tiny piece of beef...not sure if that was it. Plus, it happened twice at night, not once and he did not have beef both nights so...who knows? Maybe test strips were wonky? Tested a couple of times though and then opened a new container so last night's strip was from a brand new bottle of strips and I even used the control solution and it was dead on. So, have not a clue what is up with him! @-)

AMPS 331
+6 132
PMPS 154 ?????????

Waiting 20 mins and retesting to see if he is rising without feeding. WTF is going on? I am really baffled with his numbers as of late. Something very strange happening here. His +6 at night has been over 300 two nights in a row and then his other numbers have been odd as well. :dizcat bcatrun_gif

Bounce, down from the bounce.

I think Simon's little Pancreas is kicking in more, providing some insulin.

So what are you thinking of giving Simon for the PMPS number? I have 2 doses in mind. But what do you think?

1U would have been too little, he goes to mid 200's and then bounces up to mid 300's on that. Not sure 1.25U would have been enough either.

I was thinking 1.5 or maybe even 1.75 if you felt really daring. ;-)

Sorry, busy with other condos and feeding my own crew. Didn't see your PM in time.

This is a new dose for those pre-shot numbers. I'd definitely get a +2 to see where Simon is headed.

I like your dose, Joyce. Testing later will let you know what to do next time. I'm with Deb. maybe Simon's pancreas is joining the party. If so, it means unpredictability every so often. But good sign!
