Hello our LL family! Boy have we missed you all!!!! Peyton has been doing great...knock on wood. He's gaining weight, eating good, has extra pep in his step and just overall looks better. I look at a picture of him when he was diagnosed with diabetes and then look at him now and can't believe it's the same kitty. I was so worried I was going to lose him. Thank you all for saving my baby!!!!!

Kitten update:
Last time I posted I had taken a kitten I rescued a few months ago to the vet. Ends up the kitten was SEVERELY constipated. It has been a whirlwind the past week. We went from one vet wanting to put him to sleep to another vet that is making "some" progress. We are now members of the megacolon group as well. I don't even want to count how many groups I am a member of...sigh....but THANK THE LORD they all exist!!! Little kitty isn't out of the woods yet and may require surgery but some progress is better than none :)
I had just been calling him "Number 3" since he was the third kitten and my plan was to find him a home. Well, guess what??? His name is now "Nugget" and he will have a forever home right here with the test of my crew. After everything he is going thru there is no way I could give him to anyone else. I would worry everyday if thy were doing everything possible to make his life great. With him here I will always know we have at least tried everything possible.
The vet says he is a dwarf kitten and may be older than we think. I can't remember exactly when they were born so I have been saying 7 months. They may be closer to a year. I always thought he was just a chubby runt. So with his poop issue and being a dwarf kitty I have decided to name him "Nugget".
I pray Nugget will continue to make progress and we can avoid surgery. I also pray that he can live a long and happy life.

Sending vines to all in need. We are happy to be back :)

I'm glad Peyton is doing so well. I hope Nugget keeps getting better and won't need surgery. Sending prayers for Nugget.

Thank you Carla :) I wish there were enough time in the day to stop by everyone's condo and say hello. So many people here have helped us tremendously. (((Hugs))) to you and Furball.

Hi Julie,
So glad to hear how well Peyton is doing.
Nugget is a lucky kitty be in his furever home with a wonderful mamabeanI hope he will continue to improve.

Carry on!

Ella & Rusty

What a great update on Peyton! You've done a wonderful job with him Julie and I know you'll do the same with Nugget. Sending vines for the little guy.

Thanks Wendy and Ella. I'm anxious to hear from the vet tomorrow. Whatever has happened over the weekend will determine if little Nugget will have to have surgery. Even if he does have surgery to clean out his colon the vet cannot guarantee that his colon will begin to contract. We could get stuck in the same situation again. Thanks for the vines. The little guy needs them.

We love being back and hearing from our LL friends. Sending vines to all in need...

Glad to hear Peyton is doing so well!

Poor little Nugget! I'm so glad you are keeping him and he will be well taken care of....he will receive the best care and the most love.

I hope he will be ok and I hope he does not have megacolon.

Peyton is looking wonderful, and we are sending tons of prayers for little Nugget. Lucky kitty, having you as his bean!!!
