Ok, green now!! Im not sure what to feed at this point. He dropped 67 in an hour. I know lc, but how low is the question…

Green! Lovely! We don’t want him to drop too far so I would test in 30 if he had a big drop last hour.

I will probably be posting my every move tonight, if anyone will be around. I find green scary at night. PTSD big time from the overdose. But I know it is ultimately the goal now.

I see he has gone back up a bit to 110. I wouldn’t feed him any more for the time being and hopefully he will stay in the low blue BGs for a while. The longer he can stay in them, the sooner his body will get used to them again

You know how to handle this. This was a very good cycle. So good to see those greens. Look, it wasn’t a scary cycle at all. You and Ivy have very good instincts in my experience.

Hi Jill, You (and your family) are doing an AMAZING job with Merlin!
If this helps for a cycle with greens, I used to find greens scary too, so I decided that I wouldn't be afraid of greens 85-99, I'd be cautiously worried about 70-84 and I'd allow myself to freak out and be scared and look for tons of guidance/hand holding below 69.
Another point to help with the "fear" is (1) when did the greens happen in the cycle, ie +X, before/after nadir; and (2) how fast Cleo went to greens AND accounting for meter variance.
This is just some of the things I've learned from FDMB sticky's and ALL THE BEAUTIFUL Volunteers here <3

I’ll be available tonight. We will be out and about today but just chillin’ at the cabin tonight and eating lasagna and salad. But seriously, you’ve got this, Jill! However, it is nice to know that there are others “out there” “just in case,” isn’t it? And here, there’s almost always someone here!
