Not sure why I have a big pink toad today but I do...he figured out that I'm going to give him those a/b pills whether he likes it or not so he'd just as well settle down and take them. They're little bitty so it's not like I'm shootin' horse pills and treats too! He seems to be feeling well and is actually eating fairly well! Sure enough tho' - as I said that he'll quit.

From yesterday's condo - Re: DCIN Dental Fundraiser
... KT & I saw the vet yesterday - he did a complete exam, not just his teeth. Overall, he's a very healthy boy - no heart issues, no thyroid problems, no breathing or neuro issues. The only problems are his eyes - he has Lenticular Scierosis which makes his eyes look cloudy. There isn't a vision problem, it's something that happens when a cat ages. It doesn't need medication. The other IS his teeth which is why we were there in the first place. He has 1 molar that will come out, another one that may - can't see damage for the yuck on it. He also needs 2-3 smaller ones likely pulled. His dental is scheduled for next Wednesday, July 17th. I have to have him there by 7:30am...they're 45 minutes away - I'll have to drive in the dark!
As most of you know, we're on fixed SocSec income - the estimate for this procedure is $555. We don't have that available so I contacted DCIN. They put together a fundraiser page to help us with this cost - here's the link:

I truly believe that when we have this done, I'm going to be able to get him off this juice! He was headed there once before but this teeth thing started blowing that all to pieces. I'm still having to feed him 14% carb as that's the only thing I can get him to eat.
