I love looking at the colors (numbers) as he is dropping! Such a happy kitty! (and a hot one, 90 in Boston...)
He is finally settling into our new feeding routine! He doesn't wake me up crying through the night anymore. He is such a good little man!
His orignal dad is coming back to Boston where he is going to learn how to take care of him, and then hopefully watch him for a week while I hike the southern part of the Long Trail!
When this started, I couldn't believe I'd ever feel this relaxed again, or we'd get into such a smooth routine. Caring for him is so much easier than I thought it was going to be! That doesn't mean I don't still watch him like a hawk, and sometimes I wake up in the night with the unreasonable fear that he isn't breathing. But I can feel his adoration, and I hope he feels mine (I'm sure of it) :-D

How wonderful you both are settling in to a comfortable routine. I know exactly what you mean about waking up wondering if he is still breathing! I do that too still. I just returned from 6 days away and though stressful in a different way, it was good to have a little break. Hope all works out for you to take the gorgeous hike!

WTG, Lucy!

You're doing fabulous. And yes, Julian *does* know you're doing all this for him and loves you dearly for it. I'm sure of it.

Looking forward to seeing the #s and the doses continue to go down.

Lucy...

Just noticed you didn't shoot this morning, so expect a bit of a rebound. Don't be tempted to shoot a higher dose for higher numbers. Let the rebound (if there is one) settle for a few days before you make a dose change.

May I suggest that the next time you get a non-shootable number that you wait 15 min and test again. Hopefully that number is rising. Test again in 15 and repeat until you get 2 (or more) good rising numbers, then shoot. You "stall" the shot.

Now, if you had to stall it 30 minutes, you're next shot (AM or PM) would come 30 minutes off schedule. SO... you can get back on schedule by shaving 15 minutes off the 12 hours (shoot when he's +11.45) each shot until you get back on schedule. :D

I don't think, even without the NS this morning that his dose should increase just yet. You've only been shooting 1.0 for 3 cycles and he's given you a couple of nice blues.

Keep up the good work!

~Beth
