Gus got himself an increase this AM. I think it's safe to say that there was room for more insulin. Looking forward to the day that the dose matches the tumor output. Hope everyone enjoys their Tuesday!

Bev --

I'm wondering if this is a bounce. It's got to be hard to distinguish between the tumor revving up vs. a bounce. I think the way you'll know is by Gus' numbers. If you see a drop in numbers within a day or two, it may be that today's AMPS is a bounce off of yesterday's blues.

Gabby doesn't regularly wait for me when I'm showering. It's an occasional thing and a behavior she would partake in a lot more prior to the FD. I just like it a lot when she talks to me and asks to be showered with affection!

Hi Bev - Good luck with the new dose. You just do amazing things for Gus!

I saw in J.D.'s condo that you give Gus cosequin twice a day for his arthritis. I've been giving to my senior, Mario, for a few months, too. At first it seemed to help him quite a bit, but then it 'leveled off". There's actually some back-history on Mario and cosequin that I'm currently trying to sort through, too, so I won't ramble on about that aspect till I figure my thoughts out.

Anyway...have you looked into Adequan for Gus's arthritis? We just started Mario on it 4 weeks ago, so we're relative newbies to it, but within a few shots I did notice that his posture was looking much, much better. He still doesn't sit with his butt on the ground like a "normal" cat - he hasn't for years, and I don't think he ever will again, but he does seem "looser" and more relaxed. Like I said, though, we're pretty new to the Adequan. I think Marjorie has been using it for some time with one or two of her civvies...just something to consider.

Good morning! Ouch on the red. Hopefully Gus comes down quick for you!

We give Adequan to our labrador who had his ACL replaced. It has done wonders for him and I have heard good things for cats as well. We could tell a difference within a couple of shots. If you have a vet that will let you give the shots at home the price isn't terrible.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
