Yesterday's Condo
Well, we got off to a roaring start today! Not sure what Cinco ate at the party last night, but it darned sure didn't have a lot of carbs! Looks like he did a full Nelson into the lagoon shortly after his first breakfast (partly because he didn't eat much of it). :shock: He did not want to get out of the deep end, either. I broke out the 8% and that didn't work, so I finally got out the Karo. Just had his first non-food test, so we'll see what the next one says, but hopefully we're done with the poke fest soon. He's getting pretty grumpy. He's been very vocal the whole time, too. I think he heard that China is singing like a bird and wanted to get his side of the story in first. Must have been a heck of a party!
Summer appy still present in the girls this morning, but Harvey ate with enthusiasm. I was careful to feed him in small increments again, and there were no issues.
I felt much better this morning when I woke up than I did yesterday. Still a lot of pain, but nothing like yesterday. The meds have kicked in now and I'm feeling pretty functional. :smile: Maybe a little loopy, too. I took two Norcos again because the pain is still pretty bad, and those are some strong drugs. I was going to go to Petco today for fuds, but I may ask my DH to drive me.
I'm going to try to get some stuff done around here while the drugs are in control - I really accomplished nothing yesterday and the laundry is piling up and the house is a pig sty. Where are the good fairies when you need them??
